## Description

Product Description "'Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah saying; Arise and go down to the potter's house, and there I will show you a work being formed on a wheel.' We have assembled to hear the songs coming from the vessels that have been crafted by the awesome hand of God." -T.D. Jakes About the Artist Bishop T.D. Jakes is a renowned pastor/author. He currently pastors the fastest growing church in America, The Potter's House. The 200-member Potter's House Mass Choir joins Bishop Jakes as they perform powerful praise and worhip music.

Review: "Arise and go down to the potter's house..." - Come for the music and stay for the message; T.D. Jakes is a terrific preacher, and together with the huge choir from his Potter's House Church in Dallas, Texas, one can catch their enthusiasm and their love of the Lord in this music tape. It's great to hear Bishop Jakes speak, he lifts my spirit and leads my thoughts in the right direction. Here is the song list, and unfortunately, some of the vocal soloists are unidentified. "Majesty" ~ choir "Lord My God" ~ soloist and choir "Let's Just Praise the Lord" ~ T.D. Jakes and choir "Let's Give Him Praise" ~ Rev. Jesse Campbell and choir "High in all the Earth" ~ soloist and choir "This Test is Your Storm" ~ intro by T.D. Jakes, soloist and choir "He'll Meet My Need" ~ a healing message from T.D. Jakes, and choir "His Presence is Here" ~ choir "It Shall be Done" ~ soloist (she is extraordinary !) and choir. These final three numbers are incredible, and have the capability of true healing, in body, mind and soul. The Potter's House Mass Choir is directed by Steve Lawrence (who also wrote three of the songs). The musicians are wonderful, including Steve Ford: piano and Hammond Organ (he also wrote "This Test is Your Storm"), Jonathan DuBose: guitar, Marvin Thompson: trombone, James Cheeks: alto, Courtney Nero: tenor, Clifton Brockington: trumpet, and Jeff Davis on drums and percussion. Though this type of contemporary gospel music isn't what I usually like, the level of joy and zeal for Jesus in this performance makes it a 5 star event. Total running time 65 minutes. "Arise and go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause you to hear My Words". Jeremiah 18:2.
Review: Refreshing - This an album I've been familiar with for years. I'd borrowed it from a friend and was reluctant to give it back. The music speaks to you in a way that authentic gospel music does, giving you a message of remaining faithful and keeping hope alive in seemingly impossible circumstances. Music has a very powerful effect on people in general, as evidenced by the music the violent, the suicidal and the dejected tend to gravitate to listening. In an era where we are saturated with gloom and doom on the airwaves, the timeless message of the Gospel and God's ability to minister to any need is a message every person of faith should take to heart.

This is all about worship. It's a beautiful album. It's well worth the money. It's an old album, but don't hesitate to add it to your collection
