FPV technology has come a long ways in the last couple of years. When XProHeli first started, we started using basic 2.4ghz FPV kits. The range was probably around 200 to 250 feet. Good enough for framing close proximity shots but not good for those that wanted to grab longer distances. In 2013 we bumped up to the 5.8ghz band getting better video quality and much better distance. We tested a TON of different setups and finally settled on our XPH FPV basic kit.
