My hair cutter turned me on to this product and I've been using it ever since. It has just the right amount of hold and it goes a long way with just a dab for me. It doesn't cake onto your hair and has a great scent to it. Highly recommend.

Kevin Murphy Free Hold Hair Styling Paste is spectacular! Just the right amount of hold, especially for short, texturized hair. This is a cheap way to try it. The regular size is around $35. Lasts all day. I highly recommend this product!

I've been using this product every day for a decade. It brings amazing life to your hair and lasts all day long. I have thick, straight hair and as soon as I put this in my hair, I get a huge boost of volume, nice and subtle hold, and great texture. It lasts me about 2 months of every day use and is a great value for the money. Smells fantastic and is consistent quality every time. Super easy to use. I recommend Kevin Murphy products to everyone!

Loved the product before with layered cut. My cut and hair style doesn't do well with this now. Weighs it down. But, I love the product. Not sticky, great quality and price. I bought the mini size.

Kevin Murphy free hold is a nice medium hold styling product. I like the small size 1.1 oz, as I’ve found with other similar products that come in larger sizes tend to harden up after product has been used for awhile.

I love this product! I have extremely fine hair and this paste makes my hair do what I want it to do. And it smells divine - I wish they’d make it into a spray fragrance!

I have used this exact product from a salon for the past 4 years or so. Unfortunately it's such a popular item that he sells out almost instantly! I then gave this product online a try hoping it was not a dupe and would work as advertise. Horribly mistaken! Texture: Typically when you grab some of the cream out, it's very smooth and creamy. Easy to spread onto your hands before application. When grabbing some of this product from amazon, when spreading it throughout your hands, you feel little clumps of product that was not mixed in well with the batch. It's easily found in every swipe you take form the product. Hold: There is nothing like the legitimate hold from a reputable salon when you buy the product through them. The hold should be very light, depending on how much you like of the product. With this product, My hair gets weighted VERY quickly. Possibly due to the additional clumps from the dupe/manufacturing process. It just does not feel the same at all. Smell: The original product does have a nice scent to it. Almost like a light perfume to it. A generally clean/musk smell to it. If you happen to forget to put some cologne on yourself, this product gives you a nice little scent :) But this amazon product is very strong smelling, closer to alcohol than I'd like. If it smells that bad, I could only wonder what it's doing to your scalp/hair. (personal) verdict: Please, save your money and try to find this product at a reputable store/salon. The quality is night and day. I've personally bought this product on amazon twice, both had the exact same problem as stated above :/ Pictures: Here is a side by side with the genuine on the left, Amazon on the right. I love this product! It lives up to its hype.

Siempre me ha costado confiar en los productos de moldeado y fijación del cabello dado que no me gusta la textura pastosa o pegajosa que tienen algunas cremas. Esta sin embargo es muy fácil de aplicar y con muy buenos resultados, fija el cabello sin dejarlo acartonado, genera un ligero brillo sin parecer gomina y deja el cabello suave y modelable respetando las ondulaciones del mismo. Además los aromas son muy agradables y aportan frescura al cabello. ¡Sin duda, un producto MUY recomendable!

Prodotto molto buono, non unge e non secca il capello. effetto naturale anche se va dosato per evitare effetto troppo "impomatato". utilizzabile sia con capelli umidi che asciutti.
