But I gave them another try in the past five years and have been very happy with the quality, durability and price. But for this purchase I looked at all the available manufacturers of Leaf Blower/Vacuum combinations, finally coming back to B&D because I know the quality I will get. This product is a heavy duty piece of equipment and powerful. I needed the ability to blow leaves, etc. off a flagstone patio, but also to suck up all the stuff that had settled into the spaces between the stones. This does the job very well. I also anticipate it being long lasting, because I accidentally sucked up a cleaning rag and the motor immediately shut off and after removing the rag, it started back up like nothing happened.
