I am a 50 yr old woman, 5 ft and 95 lbs. I started trying to lift as heavy as possible to gain weight and support bones and muscle. I was using my daughters jaffick belt to do squats and deadlifts. 80 lb squat and 100 lb deadlift. My back hurt during and after exercises with jaffick belt. She wanted jaffick belt back so i bought this belt. Its stiffer and thicker with no pad in the back. I have no back pain anymore when lifting and was able to increase my weights 5 to 10 lb on both deadlift and squat. I'm very happy with it. Everyone said it was sized smaller so i ordered a sz up for me, a small instead of xs. I'm using the 4th smallest buckle. I think the xs would have worked too there are lots of buckle holes. Happy with more back support and increasing lift weight.

Great belt. Fit is good. I’m a 31” waist and medium is the size that fits best. Feels very durable.

The only issue my grandson had with this list is that the sizing chart was not accurate. We went by his waist size and ordered a small and it was way too small. So they wanted me to order a replacement with an extra large and it was way too big. So next we ordered the large and it’s just right! I feel like I’m re-creating the Goldilocks version of this weight belt purchase, L O L!

Perfect sizing, some room to gain and some room to lose. 7mm proved to be the right thickness as to not be too pliable or too rigid either. Time will tell if the leather holds up with regular use but for now, works as intended.

I’d say this is an amazing belt if you are a beginner (0-3 years of lifting). It’s inexpensive compared to other brands and its quality is also amazing. I wear this every single time I squat or deadlift and it definitely improves my stability on those lifts. It’s thick but not too thick, but definitely sturdy enough. The leather material also gives a nice feel. The only issue I had was the sizing. I’m a 32 waist and ended up buying a medium which I returned and swapped a small size instead. Even with the small i still had extra buckle holes to use even throughout a bulk. I highly recommend this belt if you’re a beginner buying your first ever belt or just looking for something decent within this price range.
