Review: As advertised, Very happy after 6 months. - Replaced some old hunter fans. These look fantastic and offer great lighting for a bedroom. I wouldn't use in a large den or anything. They are whisper quiet and move quite a bit of air. I'm very pleased with these. No wobble, no noise, and pretty easy installation. The only thing to be careful of is that the fins are made of some sort of very soft wood and easily dented or damaged, so assemble with care. Once mounted that is not a problem. I like the dust free dome.

They move air effectively, are so quiet you forget they’re on, and are both handsome and yet so clean-looking as to melt into the background in a good way. Even the light gives a nice glow. I can’t speak to ease of installation as I hired an electrician to install them. Not do I have a review of a remote, because my models didn’t come with remotes (a regrettably missed opportunity). But I delight in how much I am saving with these fans, especially as compared to an energy-sucking AC and given California’s climate-impacted, wildfire-strained energy grid. Get them!

**Q: Can you get a brighter led light?**
A: Thank you for your question. The Comet 7234100 ceiling fan comes with a 16 watt integrated LED and this LED is equivalent to a 75 watt incandescent light bulb and is 3000 kelvin.  This does not come with an option for a brighter LED light kit.

**Q: I bought two of these non-led models about a year ago.  Can they be converted to led with any led light kit?**
A: Thank you for your question.  The Comet 7234100 includes an integrated LED light kit and this cannot be removed or replaced.  The older version, included (2) candelabra base (E12) 40 watt maximum bulbs. You could use LED light bulbs in this light kit instead of the included incandescent light bulbs.

**Q: What is the distance from the ceiling to fan?**
A: Thank you for your question.  The 7234100 Comet ceiling fan will hang down 14.25 inches from the ceiling to the bottom of the glass on the light kit when using the 4" included down rod.

**Q: Does it come with remote**
A: The 52 inch Comet ceiling fan comes with pull chains. One for the fan speeds and one for the light. This fan is remote control adaptable.
