The last few months, however, I’ve been struggling with sudden adult-onset cystic acne. Like, really really nasty, angry, red and painful breakouts all over my chin, mouth area and neck. I was beginning to begrudgingly call it my ‘zit beard’. I was trying every thing I could think of short of seeing a dermatologist or esthetician to no avail, then finally gave in and ordered this bad boy.First thing I noticed when I received it (much sooner then was estimated, mind you)was the packaging. It was really nice. Sounds like perhaps a strange thing to mention, but I’ve noticed in the past that the better quality the packaging, the better quality the product tends to be. Take Apple, for example. So was off to a good start. They also enclosed a coupon for me to use for my next brush replacements, which I thought was nice.It comes with everything you need except the facial cleanser/soap itself. I was able to pull it all out of the box and set it up in about 5 minutes without even consulting the instructions. It’s very intuitively designed. I also love how it looks on my sink. Very futuristic. I look like a rich now when guests use my upstairs bathroom. Win #1.So I immediately want to try it out even though I had washed my face already a little bit before that and wasn’t wearing any makeup and hadn’t done anything to make my face ‘dirty’....but I just had to see how it felt, and I was so excited to be basically be starring in my own episode of the Jetsons. So I give the ol’ mug a scrub with the regular, daily use brush attachment. I just splashed my face with a bit of warm water and put a little dollop of cleanser in the pool in the center of the brush(notably less than I usually need to get my whole face clean, by the way), and go to town. It is self-timed, so I just worked my way around my face with it until it stopped. It changed direction a few times too during the 1 minute washing, so I felt like it was really getting in there. The lather was nice, but definitely be wary of using too much moisture (you want you face or brush to be only slightly moist), I noticed when I used it initially on my soaking wet face and with a wet brush that soapy foam started spraying out in all different directions. So I never used that much water again and didn’t have an issue with soap suds flying out.So, the thing stops, my first wash has ended...then the craziest thing happened....I look down at the brush I had just used to wash my ‘clean’ face...and it was covered in makeup that my face wash left behind earlier that evening! It was a rude awakening as to how much dirt and residue must have been staying on my skin all the time. No wonder I started breaking out so badly. So that’s win #2!It’s been a couple of weeks now of me using it everyday, sometimes twice a day, and I am beyond thrilled to announce that my acne is almost totally dried out! My skin feels so smooth and soft, and I have noticeably less blackheads around my nose and forehead area too! My face feels SO CLEAN now, like I had never washed my face before this product came into my life. I LOVE IT and won’t go back to being a filthy dirty girl again. At least not in my pores. I follow a few influencers on IG and YouTube and I came acrossThis product. As my skin in maturing, my skins cellular exfoliation isn’t as good as it used to be meaning my face super dry. I used this to try and remove the dry skin and to deep clean my pores. It does all of this and more. My skin feels so much better and is truly so much cleaner. Plus it sterilizes itself! Super amazing. I started right away using this day and night but I may have needed to start a bit slower as my skin is a bit sensitive. It was deep cleaning my skin so well it made it feel almost too clean but I realized I needed to moisturizer more not that this was removing my dry dead skin more. It’s a win win. Plus you can use it in the shower too. If you use over the sink, get the brush head a bit damp not soaken wet as it will shoot water everywhere. I love this product! So much so I bought on for my teenage son. ### ⭐ Stopped working after one use *by J***N on May 30, 2025* I have had two of these, the first one stopped working after a couple months and the second stopped working after one use. What a shame because it cleans the face very well when working. Thank goodness I am able to return the 2nd one. So disappointed. If you do buy it make sure you get a warranty.
