It will even hold jumbo eggs contrary to other reviews I read; I was able to fit a dozen jumbo eggs by inserting them bottom side up. Also, it holds the eggs securely so that they don’t move around and break against the inside of the hard plastic case. (At least the jumbo eggs don’t and I suspect extra larges won’t either. Not sure about smaller eggs.) The only thing I don’t like about is is the closure; kind of hard to get open and I feel like I might jostle the eggs while trying to open the container.
