It’s very functional and beautiful on my kitchen counter!

Works great. Looks even better. Good construction considering how things are made nowadays. Strong, hefty cord which should last a long time. The housing is metal and any plastic/rubber elsewhere is sturdy. Has substantial rubber feet that will last. The crumb tray is a little flimsy but aren’t they all. It toasts one sided (bagels...etc) nicely. Only complaint is it take longer than most toasters I’ve owned. And it takes awhile to find your setting. It’s like butter in the microwave. One click higher and your toast is toast. :)

the springs are so strong in this toaster that my toast ends up on the ground 99% of the time, and just after only using it for about 6 months it no longer works. The mechanism is broken and wont stay down to toast the bread. For the price, I was expecting better quality and for it to last for at least a couple more years. So disappointing!

I love this toaster, 12 levels, defrost button, and what I am going to call forgotten toast warm up button. Solid construction and behold a grounded plug. Works very well, all 4 slices were evenly cooked. My only caution, not complaint, run it several times (we did 5) on the highest setting to burn off the new toaster smell, if possible near your stove exhaust, it was very strong at first but went away after several cycles. Oh and in case you don't realize this thing is huge.

I purchased this on amazom.ae site to be delivered to UAE. Instead a USA spec toaster was delivered 110V. Requested return which was accepted. But now I have to pay a significant amount to return it to Amazon USA instead of where I purchased it from ... Amazon.ae. So, be careful and when buying make sure it is compliant with UAE voltage (220V) I like SMEG and I will now buy one locally instead.

I’m giving it a 4 because it came with marks on it and Smeg never even responded to me. I hate when we have to contact the product directly. Amazon should handle all our issues.

We did a lot of research on bread makers before we decided on the Zojirushi. It is one of the most expensive machines but it has great reviews and my sister also owns one, which she is happy with. It is very well made, is easy to use and clean and makes the perfect loaf of bread! We have made a few different types of loaves and everyone turns out perfectly. The machine works like a dream and even with the steep price, it is well worth the money.

I am very pleased with the size of this toaster. It easily fits 4 slices without any crowding. I am also happy that after only 2 tries, I found the sweet spot (number) for my perfect toast. I found #2 to give me just the right amount of browning. Not too dark (I don't like dark toast) and not to light. I have also used the same number for my English muffins with the same great results. I gave it a 4 star (maybe should have been 3 1/2) because I have yet to find a consistent # for my husband's toast. He likes his very dark but not charcoaled. I thought I had found the perfect # using the 3. That worked for about a week. Then it started burning the toast. So, I turned it down to 2 1/2. That worked for a couple of weeks. Then it wasn't dark enough. So, I went back to 3. It is back to working a little better. It is a tad bit darker than my husband likes. But, he is fine with it. I use the spot between the 2 and the 3 for his English Muffins. He doesn't like really dark muffins. Its a little pricey. But, it works faster than my old toaster. Hopefully the old adage, you get what you pay for, will hold true.
