He's funny and human-not all that happens in the books is happy or sweet but is is HUMAN and FAMILY. I love that my grandson now owns 11 of his books and he lends them to his cousins who must always give them back!!
Review: Another great book by David Walliams - My 13-year old still enjoys reading and laughing at Walliams' humorous characters and always gets to read a second time to me while I am driving or running other chores, so I get to laugh at it too. I recall disliking only one book by this author and it was Ratburger. I found it too gruesome for kids, but from Mr. Stink to The Ice Monster, it has always been great!

cause you can read to them- this is the author for you!!! David Walliams is a good actor and a great author. My 8 yr old lovesss this book! She can't put it down once she picks it up and keeps bursting into laughter :) I believe this will be a book she will keep reading over and over.
