Pretty darn good for the price
For the size and quality of the cage I think this is a wonderful choice, I’m very happy with it and with one person helping assembly is not too bad. I’d only drop it one star bc the pieces really should be labeled with stickers and have matching joints marked, it would make assembly very easy and go much faster. Since the instructions are vague, the main things to keep in mind when assembling: 1) you WILL need to lightly hit the alignment of joints into the proper angle. If you have a rubber mallet, use that or something like a dowel to not damage the metal. Personally, I do not consider this a manufacturing error, the margin for error is pretty small, and the material is flexible enough that it is very easy to lightly tap the interlocking joints to angle more outwards or inwards which allows them to slide together very easily and still fit snug. Personally I’d rather have the fit be tight and need me to widen the angle slightly than to have everything be loose, so I think this is fine. 2) Assembly instructions are vaaaague, this is the biggest flaw. Also they kind of have you assemble it in a weird order. There’s several pieces that matter whether they face in or out/what side they go on, which is not great when they aren’t labeled, bc you get halfway through and realize you have to flip something. Personally, I would not follow the directions and instead assemble the top half of the cage (not including the door/front panel), the bottom half of the cage (still not including the door) and then put those two together, then do the door/front panel last. It’s a lot easier that way, and you won’t get as turned around. While the instructions were vague, it also really wasn’t hard. Took me and my partner like an hour to do, and that’s with some mess ups. The screws were all good, the threading on the receiving holes was really good , and it comes with enough extras if you lose one you’ll be fine. If you’re putting it together following good assembly practices, loosely put the screws in, not in a line but at farthest points working in, then once everything’s in tighten them down, the alignment is really pretty great for the price. I only had one screw that was slightly off center which for a cage this big is a miracle. Overall I’m very satisfied and my bird loves it! Very spacious for an African red belly, it’s a decadent choice for a smaller/medium size parrot, but the bar spacing is still safe. All in all I’d give it 4.5/5

I love the case overall
I read the reviews before I got this case. So I seen this coming. And it looks great. But the trays at the bottom were bent but made out of minerals that probably won't last of it gets wet to much. One of the holes wasn't in the proper location is i did skip the one the the top of the cage looks a little funky Assembly took 2.5 hours by myself But over all the case is huge for my two little sugar gliders and they will have a home for years to come

Convenient, space saving, large, functional cage! Great buy!
I bought this for my GCC who has since passed, so I updated it with my set up for my sun conure. First, the good. The double bowls swing out and are convenient. Note that the top roof does NOT open, and the playtop they refer to is the little sunset above the door. The top is flat and allows for you to make your own play top that can be updated and rearranged, unlike the premade cages with playtops. Conveniently rolls. I roll it out of the corner every morning and sweep underneath, and the mess is gone. I will say that if you plan to leave the door/sunset open, put newspaper underneath. I put a plastic computer chair mat underneath as well. If you're in the market for a cage that's large, functional, and space saving, then don't let the negative comments about the directions deter you. As a 22 year old female who is not inclined in building, I had no trouble whatsoever. It took a little over an hour to assemble by myself. The directions are wordless, but it's mostly common sense. Now, to the bad. As you can see, a couple of my pieces arrived bent (not the makers fault, but the risk you take when shipping). My rectangular grate and seed catcher were bent. A large wall was bent and so was an edge on the roof, but luckily the metal is malleable enough that they bent back into place when I tightened all the screws. The seed catcher underneath is bent there as well. The tool they send to help screw the nuts/wheels was too small to screw in the wheels and I didn't have the tools so I had to waste more time trying to hand twist them in. The horizontal bars are easier bent than I expected. I would not put anything much larger than a conure in it or they will be able to bend the bars. So over all, after taking a moment to work through assembly, it's a great cage. Large, convenient, perfect for conures and similar sized birds. It has potential for a fun playtop. It's easy to clean. Easy to move and not super heavy. Plenty of space! It looks professional. Just be prepared if you're having it shipped that it may not be in pristine condition, but that's the post's fault. You will not find a cage so large and built so well for a cheaper price. Knowing what I know now, I would still buy this again!

Very Nice Cage
Okay, the reviews on this cage are mixed, scary and a bit confusing, but I needed a larger cage, so I took a chance. I am so glad I did. First of all, I am a 61 year old female. I'm not sure why people complain about the instructions. I decided to try to surprise my husband, by at least starting the assembly, so he didn't have to do it all after working all day. I was able to assemble it using the instructions and not the video that the reviews suggested. I had it completely assembled and needed no help. I'm no genius, so I'm not seeing the issue here. We did have a small hiccup, one panel was drilled wrong and the door latch was broken. I contacted them immediately and they quickly sent the parts and Ben was absolutely wonderful to work with. Great communication and very prompt on getting the issue solved! There was mention that there was a huge gap at the bottom of the cage. Reading that almost made me scroll on by as I wanted this cage for our cockatiel and a very small parakeet. There is no gap at all. The only thing I can think of is they have the grate in the same track as the tray, but there is a separate track for the Grate up higher. What I'm not crazy about is the size of the dishes. They are very deep. Our tiny parakeet would have to turn upside down to eat and drink. We opted to not use the hardware or the bowls. We had 4oz stainless bowls and holders that had a bolt on them to attach to the cage. We just put the bolt through the top hole in the door and placed the bowl in the holder. If I can find some shallow dishes, we may end up going that route later on. All in all, it's a super nice cage. It's beautiful and spacious for our birdies. It's well made, attractive and we are very pleased with the purchase. It's easy to clean and have no complaints.

Junk! Bent All To Pieces.
This is much flimsier and cheaper made than expected for $300. It arrived thrown inside a simple cardboard box without any protection and inside the pieces were loose with only a thin piece of plastic wrap on the top of one piece. It's obvious all these bent pieces and parts didn't get that way in shipping. They were like that when they went into the box. Holes aren't drilled properly and are way too big for the screws. There are holes without any threads. The pieces are so bent it won't even go together. If I'd seen this in person I wouldn't have given $50 for it. Absolute junk. Waste of time and money. Useless. And the instructions are a total joke. Worst purchase ever.

Not happy with the quality vs. price
First of all it is massive. make sure you take measurements of where it is going to go before purchasing it. It came early which I was beyond happy about since there is horrible cold weather coming and I was not looking forward to lugging it into the house during ice, wind, and everything else. It came in two boxes. it was definitely poorly packed. there are multiple pieces that were damaged before even going into the box and some were even welded together crooked. Bowls were bent and partially caved in. Allen keys that came with it were stripped before getting half way putting it together. the bars are a lot thinner than I expected since the cage is meant for a Macaw or bird of that size (I have a Moluccan Cockatoo). they do not hold perches that screw on with washers and wing nuts because of how flimsy the bars are. they are spaced closer together to make up for the smaller gage of bars. There are a lot of safety toggles over the doors and food holders along with other latches/locks, so I really like that aspect. Just make sure that you don't tighten them all the way or they will not move. The instructions are just pictures that kind of show you how to do it, but if you are not versed in building things, you may have a hard time figuring it out. Thankfully we were able to bend parts somewhat straight and put it together completely. I will be contacting the company about a couple pieces that are either broken at the weld or just mangled completely. I would not be complaining if I didn't spend over $700 on the cage. Over all it isn't a bad cage for the size and there was some thought that went into the design. It is really a good cage if it wasn't so damaged or crooked. My main complaint is the damage done because of just negligence while boxing or manufacturing. I will edit with how to company responds to me about the damages.

Great buy! Birds love it.
I would have thought a cage like this would cost much more than $250. I consolidated my two parakeets and two cockatiels into this from two smaller cages and they love it. I used the top gyms from their old cages to attach to this one and built a tree perch inside, and taped wallpaper to the outside of the wall side walls which helps to contain their messiness a bit and looks pretty. I also got them a cat water fountain and the parakeets bathe in it on top of the cage. They all love to be inside and on top of the cage playing. I'm really glad I bought this. Assembly wasn't bad at all. The other reviews made me nervous about that but it honestly was no big deal. I put it together alone in a short period of time. The only issue I had was the four feeding cups were stuck together stacked and I could not separate them. I probably spent more time trying to pull those apart (including with olive oil, hot, and cold water, pliers, and banging them on the counter) than I did assembling the whole cage. The seller shipped out replacement cups and a wheel that was missing, no problem. I was still able to use the cage in the meantime with 4/5 wheels (it still stood without wobbling) and the cups from their old cages. Thanks! I never did get those original cups apart. We LOVE this cage (aka bird mansion)!

Don’t let the crappy instructions stop you!
Like most people said, the instructions left a lot to be desired but with some patience it can be put together quite easily. I’ll admit I did get a lot of help from some of the other reviews (thank you) so if you are struggling look through them and you will figure it all out. I was able to put it together by myself in a few hours minus the seed skirt because that will take 2 people. You definitely want to put the bottom together first and then attach the top pieces instead of following the way the pictures suggest you assemble it. Make sure you have the door hinges on the right and check for screw placements on the top part of the cage with the cage top. Other than that I’d say the seed skirt was the most challenging thing. It arrived in 2 boxes with all parts and pieces. One of the caster legs were bent (it was easily bent back into place) and I couldn’t align one of the screw holes which didn’t effect the overall assembly. As for the cage it’s self, it’s wonderful! For the price it really can’t be beat. I did a lot of shopping around and this is a really good deal. Even though I looked at the dimensions the cage is much bigger than I had pictured as you can see from where I have it in the room. It will be moved to a different corner with a window shortly. For now I’m keeping it where the old cage was until I know my bird is completely happy with it. Speaking of Harley, my Amazon Grey, for the most part she adjusted to her new environment in a little more than a day which made me very happy. She loves the space she now has and seems to really like the top of the cage being flat without an added jungle gym. I made sure to put up more perches so she has many places to sit while getting used to the additional height. Overall I give it 5 stars ⭐️The cage is well worth the crappy installation instructions so it doesn’t seem fair to deduct for that. Harley and I are very happy with it!
