It really doesn't taste like anything and has the consistency of milk more or less. I use sugar free strawberry whey power in a simple shaker bottle and it tastes fine. I also use it now and again to make egg nog with sugar free coffee flavoring - little Splenda, some egg nog flavoring and a dash of cinnamon (not a nutmeg fan) and it's about 24 grams of protein in a tasty drink. On days I lift "big" (well, big for me anyway - it's a relative thing) I do this at night before going to bed. The gallon jugs show up frozen about solid at my house - it takes a couple days in the fridge before they're completely liquid - you need to shake them up _hard_ before using. I didn't care for the pump much myself - I just pour it out and never have a problem. Cleaning the pump was a pain for me and it clogged too often to be useful.
