USB2.0 thought, so check your host computer for connectivity *by A***R on March 4, 2025* This works pretty well with Windows. U connect the USB 2.0 Type A cable to the same port on your PC. It comes wih a small card which allow you to configure the reader to read the card in your desired format - hex, decimal, etc. Has almost 28 formats. Its up to you to figure out which one to use. A little laborious and you will have to do trial an error to get to the specified read capability. But its a one time config and given the price and ease of use its probably worth it.
