Effective broadband light pollution filter for OSC cameras
I think a couple of lightly-processed photos of the rosette and helix nebulae taken from a bortle 8 with a 70mm refractor and a one-shot color camera do most of the talking. About 15 minutes of light each. This filter does a great job on cutting out all my local light pollution while letting in enough good broadband light that it doesn't take me all night to get one or two pretty pictures. Possibly less expensive filters might be adequate, but they didn't come with transmission curves. I'll probably leave this permanently attached to my EAA rig.
