Targus Pro-Tek Tablet Case for iPad (7th Gen) 10.2", iPad Air 10.5", and iPad Pro 10.5", Black (THZ852GL)

This is, BY FAR, THE BEST, most sturdy, safe, user friendly case EVER. After going through several cases, covers, etc, I finally got this one as a gift…IT IS AWESOME! I am just now replacing it with this purchase, as the other was a little worn (and written on by my granddaughters, haha), after 5 YEARS! It’s awesome. Get it. Keep your iPad safe, especially if you’re prone to dropping things! It is also nice because you (or your kids) can color and decorate it!

Item as described, second one I’ve bought first one lasted several years of heavy use. Dropped iPad multiple times and never had I problem with my iPads.

I’ve been buying either increasingly expensive Otterbox cases, based on past experience, or cheap, heavily padded, rubber-encased cases that quickly broke. This is my first Targa, and buying it was kind of an act of faith as they don’t have the same reputation as some of the expensive cases. After a day’s use, I have a pretty good opinion of it. It’s very easy to install, it doesn’t have a lot of fiddly bits likely to break off, and it has two good stand positions that don’t depend on complex fittings. I’m pretty sure that the case offers a good deal of protection when it’s fully wrapped around the iPad, but perhaps less sure how well it protects when opened.

I replaced my dad’s original iPad cover with a the exact same thing. He likes it. He’s happy. The only reason we replaced it was because the original one had started shedding material, constantly leaving the floor to look like we had bugs. I have no idea if this is a common problem with these. Mom says that it’s Florida’s weather that will destroy most any material like this. Who am I to say?

Got the case for my mom because her old iPad case was peeling off. Targus iPad cases are definitely higher quality and last longer. We like the feel of the case, the look and the durability.

Strong good quality and protective on the go…

It is quite difficult to obtain a new case for this model of iPad, being now about 8 - 9 years old. So I was very happy to find that Targus are still producing what is an excellent cover. The folding stand function is a bit slippery, so I bought a bamboo stand with cushion underneath which solved that problem and I can now use iPad whilst sitting or lying down.

Very sturdy and fits the new iPad very well. Not bulky; it is strong and just the right thickness.

I enjoy watching my iPad in bed and this holds the iPad up perfectly, the angle is easy to adjust, and its very sturdy. This one I bought is a gift, but I have had the same one for about five years and it is still in like new condition after daily use.
