Good Starter Set, But Not Built for Heavy Use
Overall, this is a pretty good set, especially if you’re just getting into woodworking. It gives you a nice variety of bits to experiment with, and it’s a solid way to learn different cuts and profiles without spending a ton of money. The case is a nice touch and keeps everything organized, which makes it easy to grab what you need. That said, after a few uses, it doesn’t really feel like these are going to last long under heavy or frequent use. The quality is decent, but you can tell it’s more of a beginner-level set rather than something built for long-term durability. If you’re just starting out or need something for occasional projects, it’s a good value. But if you’re doing a lot of work, you’ll probably want to upgrade to higher-end bits over time.

An excellent value for hard earned money!
I received this set a few days back and I have to tell you. I’m very impressed with it! The router bits are of excellent quality and razor Sharp. And, for the price, there is no way in the world you can go wrong with this set.

Great starter set—but know what it is (and isn’t)
Picked this up as a general-purpose router bit set, and for the price, it actually covers a lot of ground. You get a wide variety of profiles—straight bits, roundovers, chamfers, dovetails, flush trims, etc.—basically enough to handle most common woodworking tasks without needing to buy individual bits. That’s the main value here. These sets are designed to “cover everything,” and this one does that well. The bits are carbide tipped, and they cut clean enough for typical projects—nothing to complain about for light to moderate use. Where it shines: Good variety—great for figuring out what bits you actually use Solid for DIY, hobby work, and occasional use Fits any standard 1/4" router (handheld or table) Where it falls short (and this is important): This is not a premium set—don’t expect long-term durability under heavy use Edge retention isn’t going to match brands like Freud, Diablo, or Amana Some bits you’ll use once… and never touch again (typical for these big kits) Bearings and finish quality can be hit-or-miss compared to higher-end bits Reality check: This is exactly what it claims to be—a budget, all-in-one set. It’s ideal if: You’re getting into routing You want to experiment with profiles You don’t want to spend hundreds on individual bits upfront It is not ideal if: You’re doing production work You care about perfect finishes straight off the router You expect these to last forever Bottom line: Great value for getting started or filling out your toolbox. Use this set to figure out what you actually use—then upgrade those specific bits to higher-end brands later.

Good Selection, Great Value
Only used a handful of time this far but, these bits have performed quite well. Very sharp and cuts through pine like butter. The case is an unexpected bonus as it is quite sturdy and I'm more than happy keeping the bits inside for storage purposes. Also, the bits don't fall out when carried around. It's quite a nice case. Overall this bit set is a really good value when comparing it to the other high priced sets. The case is solid and the selection of bits is great.

A mess.
This is how the bits arrived, the entire bottom row wasn’t in the inserts, and the carbide blades are all chipped to hell, even the smaller bits on the upper rows. I don’t even know how this happened because there is a clam shell insert that should have kept them secure. Hopefully Kowood can make this right because I’ve ordered 1/4 shank bits years ago that were amazing and I still use them today. EDIT: I did return the bits and had a replacement sent out. Fortunately, the new bits were in good order, although I believe the case they come in has much to be desired. The pro version used to come in a really nice wood case that I still use to this day, but these are held in by foam. I did use some of the bits on dried maple butcher block and everything was fine.
