Review as a general weightlifting shoe
I've tried on a handful of styles of this type of shoe for the purpose of lifting weights in a flat, nearly barefoot — and most especially cool — shoe, and these are a cut above all the rest I've tried, which were all promptly returned. These have a very light and flexible rubber outsole with a very elastic and breathable mesh upper. Because of this there are no weird pressure points anywhere, as is the case with every other ill-fitting analog I've ever tried on. These are just fantastic — comfort, fit, breathability, all A+ as far as I'm concerned. I can't vouch for their durability for the purposes of running because I don't run; I simply dislike the feeling of heavy sneakers when lifting. I would just work out in crew socks if I were allowed to do so in a public gym. If I were to guess, these might last a couple months tops in a rigorous running regime. Then again, a pair of Merrells for $75 or so may get you scarcely more use than this. For my money these might be worth a shot for a runner. I do see a bit lacking in the fusion of the toe cap with the mesh upper, which shouldn't be a problem since, as mentioned, there is a good fit here with a ton of flexibility to eliminate the tension points around the outsole's border which wears out shoes. Almost all sneakers and trainers have historically been ill-shaped to levels of idiocy that are incomprehensible to me, especially Nikes, so the emergence of minimalist and zero-drop shoes in recent years is a good thing. Such a style of shoe isn't meant 'last' I suppose but serve a purpose. It's just important that you get the right size. I for example intended to wear these in black with normal black crew-length socks with a bit of thickness, so I went with 12.5 which is my upper size. This is an outstanding fit and feel as compared with the Converse I'd been wearing for lifting — Converse have really gone to **** over time, and yet they remain $60 or so. But ANYWAY, were I to buy another pair this summer to be worn with the invisible nylon socks I'd probably go down a half size to 12 to prevent heel slippage (I have a slightly shorter right foot). The inclusion of half-sizes is another sign of an excellent shoe product. An additional bonus is the fact these are very easy to slip on and off. I find zero negatives here. As a foot-sweater and a general disliker of weight on the feet, and a wide-foot-haver, these shoes were a great find.

Excellent room in the toe of the shoe!
These are great! First pair of sneakers that fit in the toes. Very comfortable!

UNEXPECTED QUALITY
Just got these. They do not feel cheap, especially for the price. The bottom feels much sturdier than I expected and have plenty of cushion, much more than my Asics wrestling shoes. It felt much sturdier than the Whitin's that I returned. They have great grip. Nice cushion around the ankles also. The design is great but PLEASE - GET RID of the TOE NAIL DESIGN, not necessary, very cringy. How the rubber goes over the top of the toes makes it feel better while walking, instead of just a flimsy fabric. There's enough room in the toe box without making them look like clown shoes. I went half a size down from my Asics wrestling shoes. I will give an update after I use it outdoors. UPDATE: These are just fantastic. Bought another pair. I don't want to wear anything else. Please eliminate the toenail design.

Comfortable and they wear well.
I wear them to play disc golf. They fit well and are very comfortable. They have have held up pretty well, even through the punishment of concrete tee boxes at the courses I play. They are showing signs of wear but are still serviceable. I will probably have to buy a new pair in the next month or two. They have definitely been worth the price for the use I got from them.

Great shoes, greater price.
I love barefoot shoes, and decided to try a summer pair of them, since my last set was winter boots. These shoes seem more durable than my winter pair from a different brand. The grip is amazing I feel so sure footed in these shoes, even on slick environments. They are super comfotable to wear, and are light weight. They also are nice and breathable to help keep feet from overheating. I am thoroughly impressed with these shoes so far. I do wish they offered an 11.5 size, but the 11 fits my foot like a glove, very comfortable. So the sizing seems pretty close to American standard shoe sizes. I love how the toes are wrapped with the soul, and how the tread comes up the front of the toe a bit too. It seems like it will help protect againet stubbed toes, while also giving traction if climbing. Highly recommend.

Neat looking shoe but 1/2 truth on being 'minimalist'
So I needed a new pair of workout shoes at the office. I've been getting back into Crossfit and I didn't want to be limited to my New Balance running shoes. When these shoes popped up, I thought they were a pair of unmarked Merrells but the $32 price point seemed unusual. I bought them anyways to try them out. Delivery arrived a few days sooner than expected so thats a plus. I opened the box and these shoes were in a shrink-wrapped plastic bag. Then I came to realize these shoes were an off-brand that I have never heard of (oran-gine-er?) The design and color scheme is kinda cool but they seem like a cheap, chinese-made knockoff shoe. I also think the term 'minimalist' means different things to different folks. The sole itself is fairly thick rubber that wraps up and over the toes. Kinda looks like a cross of the old Five Finger minimalist shoe and a Merrell Trail Glove. Not many minimalist shoes I have owned have a removable sole insert though. I normally buy size 12 in athletic shoes for expansion but these still feel slightly small just walking around the office and house in them. The heel cup is padded like a pair of basketball shoes. Not saying it wasn't comfortable on my first 30 minute run with them but also a little false advertising. Parts of the upper are made with what feels like a 1mm neoprene. I thought my feet were going to sweat like a whore in church when working out. All-in-all, not a terrible first outing with them. Ran in some uneven terrain but mostly pavement. Didn't feel much of the road on the bottoms of my feet. Toes felt like they were getting a little squished but I'll take them out for a few more rounds. Hopefully these stretch a little. Even though it was 35 degrees out this morning, I was pleasantly surprised that my socks were not drowning in sweat. Finally, sole tread. Though it looks a little aggressive, I would not trust them on slick mornings. That fidget spinner design on the balls of the feet and heel look cool in the pictures but are not really functional for grip. I'll give these shoes the good 'ol college try. If this specific pair don't work out, I'm contemplating on buying a new pair 1/2 size larger since they are dirt cheap for shoes.

Most comfortable minimalist shoe I now own
Im a shoe guy. Always have been, always will be. I own 4 different pair of high dollar Minimalist "barefoot" shoes. I just went out and grabbed these from the mailbox hoping they would fit and be comfortable. I normally buy overseas shoes a half size larger, but since Amazons advice was to buy "same/normal" , I did. I'm still in awe as to why these low priced shoes fit better, are more comfortable and STILL live up to the quality standards as my other expensive ones. You wouldnt think that with the price of these and the diff. colors offered, they would be everything you would hope for and expect when it comes to quality, fit and size, but to top it all off they are the most comfortable I own by far. Im glad I took the chance after Im sure many of you as I have, been burned by an inferior product and not represented accurately. But .... Ive gotta say .... Ill be buying another and maybe another pair if these hold up fairly well. If you like the wide, open toe box and no heel to toe drop like myself, these are a great value for your money. They also have more cushion in the insole as my other styles have. I wear steel toed boots throughout the week and these are gonna feel great to slip on after work and the day is done. Update: Still holding together we'll since my purchase. I've got them filthy with having them on constantly and need a darker pair. Lol. Simple Green cleans them well. Have not broken down or lost support on the soles. I'm ordering again. Black. Update to the update: A year and a half later ... My soles are wearing through. Put alot of miles on these. Ordering another pair. Still as comfortable as the day I grabbed them from the mailbox. I've worn them alot ... Got them filthy ... Put ALOT of miles in them. Still love em. My go to shoe still. Just now need another pair! Bought a pair for my son soon after receiving these too. I've read alot of reviews mentioning how goofy these look ... Im 52 years old and these have been kidded about a lot as my "bigfoot" shoes. Well ... I've always thought bigfoot was a badass. Im not sacrificing my comfort over style. You should t either.

Perfect shoes for the trail or everyday
I’ve attached before and after pictures. We went on a 30 mile hike with a total of 3500 ft in elevation gains. Mix between rocky and dirt floor with many stream crossings, which was just me and my 40lb backpack jumping from rock to rock. I was very impressed with these shoes. This was my first experience with barefoot style shoes and I must say it was very enjoyable. I’m normally a 11.5 wide sketcher. If I could get this shoe in 10.5 it would’ve been a perfect fit. However the 11 that I bought worked great. It was so breathable my feet did not even sweat or smell until I got them a little wet on the third day of our trip. Still not bad, I almost want to get another pair for everyday use just because they are so comfortable. They are very flexible as you can see from the attached photos. Being they are slip ons makes it easy to put on which is a huge plus for me and the elastic laces make it a plus because you can tighten to your liking. For the price to quality I’d say you can’t go wrong for these pair of shoes. They were 40dollrs as of May 5, 2025.
