Such a nice cooker and horrible power cord. Too thin, gets hot, and should be 3-prong due to amperage or at least thicker cord. Suggestions?

Never had this problem. Mine is 3 prong like on the laptop charger. With triangular plug. Rice is far better than in a regular cooker. We use Nashiki.
