Great boxes all around, build quality is spot on. Boxes measured just like the listing showed. Removable tray on the bottom was a nice touch with screw for install. Box has strong metal clamps that hold down the lid nice and tight with a what seems like a good o-ring seal. Had to drill some plug holes on the outside of the box, plastic was strong and drilled great. Some lower end plastics can be brittle, this was not one of those.

Easy to mount, flat sides are easy to drill for cable glands or conduit, and the latches are easy to operate. The box feels well made and I like the insert that makes mounting equipment inside relatively easy. I ended up drilling vent holes in the bottom because the little AP I put inside generated too much heat but that isn’t the box’s fault and it still acts like a shield for direct sunlight or rain.

This works perfect as a small network enclosure in a remote pole barn for a network switch serving a handful of IP cameras and a WiFi access point. These include metal mounting tabs that screw into pre-molded threads in the backside, allowing this to be screwed down without puncturing through the enclosure. I drilled my own holes for line voltage (1/2” with Romex), fiber input (1” NMT conduit), and ½” hole at the top for loose CAT6 lines. The cover is sturdy and gasketed to keep dust and moisture out. Also features a padlock hole, although I had no need for it. The backplate is completely removable and allowed me to install mounting screws to hold the network switch in place easily on a bench to be installed into the enclosure after it was mounted.

I used this to protect a wireless satellite transceiver to turn on the outdoor condenser on my HVAC unit. I drilled holes in the bottom to allow air flow and prevent condensation. It doesn't have any knockouts for running wires in so you'll need to drill a hole yourself. I really like the design. The 4 metal tags screw onto the outside and provide about 1/4" separation from what it's attached to. Then there is a plastic grid inside that you can attach your electronics to

It is a 7 out of 10, I'd say. I was looking for a less expensive option to Hoffman or one of the other big brands. I needed something watertight to put my AC- Soft Start in. After searching reviews, I settled on this, which was delivered the next morning! It's a decent Chinese-made option; it was easy to assemble and mount everything inside on the included ABS plate with hardware. The gasket and door seal are very good. The latches are cheap, so I was careful when opening or closing them numerous times. The included brackets and screws for the rear mount appear to be cheap stainless, so I guess time will tell. It is working well for me now. I would use it again, knowing this info.

I wanted to install a small Bluetooth amp on my patio and was wracking my brain where to put it out of the weather. I found this box and it absolutely fill the bill. I mounted it horizontal so that the door is on the bottom and out of the way when opened. Exactly what I needed for a clean look and dry location. The signal travels through the case easily and I wired the speakers through a hole I made in the back and then up inside the wall to the top of my patio cover.

Well constructed PVC box. Dimensions were as described. There were no mounting screws included in the package so plan to purchase the correct screw or nail to hang the box outside. I plan to use this to store a router outside so I sprayed the product with a hose and no water penetrated the interior of the box.

Very nice quality box for the money. Would buy again. Not thin cheap plastic walls.. very nice. Lock handles are quality as well.

Excellent box. Well made and sturdy. 1001 outdoor uses. Will order more.

Tis good. Tis very good. Just right for my purposes. I like the external 'ear' things that allow easy fixing to the wall without compromising the waterproofness of the box. Quality design. Should last for years.
