## Description

desertcart.com: Jamaican Mango & Lime Black Castor oil, Peppermint, 4 Fl Oz : Beauty & Personal Care

Review: Lightweight Oil with a Refreshing Peppermint Feel - I’ve been using Jamaican Mango & Lime Black Castor Oil with Peppermint as part of my hair-care routine, and I really like the way it feels on the scalp and hair. The peppermint gives the oil a noticeable, refreshing sensation that makes it feel different from regular castor oil. The oil is easy to work into the hair and scalp, and a little goes a long way. I usually prefer using a small amount rather than applying too much at once, since castor oil is naturally on the thicker side and can make the hair feel heavy if you overdo it. The 4 fl oz bottle is a convenient size for regular use without taking up much space in a hair-care collection. The packaging also makes it easy to keep with other oils and styling products. I like using it when my hair and scalp need some extra moisture. It can also be useful for sealing in moisture after applying a water-based or moisturizing product. The peppermint scent and cooling sensation are probably my favorite parts of the formula. One thing to keep in mind is that the peppermint can feel strong, especially if you're sensitive to scented products. I'd recommend following the product directions and stopping use if it causes irritation. Overall, Jamaican Mango & Lime Black Castor Oil with Peppermint is a nice addition to a hair-care routine. The thick oil, refreshing peppermint feel, convenient 4 oz size, and easy application make it useful when you want some extra moisture and conditioning for your hair and scalp.
Review: Bought to regrow hair. Never would guess it's the secret to controlling painful eczema flare ups! - I honestly bought this for no other reason than to regrow hair around my hairline that was falling out from the stress of the pandemic (and from getting older/hormones). It took about a month or so, but my little baby hairs around my hairline that had fallen out started growing back. Not all the way back, but I do see some improvements, even on my eyebrows that have thinned out with bald spots from hormone changes. But the absolute plus side that I never ever anticipated (nor ever heard of until I started researching black Jamaican oil for eczema, and a bunch of stuff popped up), is that this oil would be, and has been, *the only treatment that has kept my eczema at bay*. Never did I expect that. But it has definitely been a very welcome bonus. So if you suffer from painful eczema flare-ups around your hairline or anywhere on your skin like I do, I absolutely recommend putting some of this on it for instant relief, and give it a few hours (maybe even sleep with it as a night time treatment like I do), and in the morning, I swear to you, the flare up will be gone (at least they were for me). I even started using it on my eyebrows (to regrow hair and because of hormones and eczema flare-ups, yup even in my brows). Those eczema spots went away. The best thing though is that if you use this in your scalp at night, in the morning, your scalp is not greasy like other oils make your hair. So you can go a few days without washing your hair, unlike other oils. So putting this black Jamaican oil/eczema theory to the test, I had totally forgotten to use my black Jamaican oil around my hairline as the last step in my night time routine for a few days-and wouldn't you know it, I could feel the eczema flare up coming on in its usual place on my hairline, and I thought to myself wow it's been awhile since I had that happen... Without even realizing that I hadn't put on my Jamaican oil for a few days I just let it go. Well then another flare up on the other side of my hairline (this one too in its usual spot) started coming up and it was coming with a vengeance, and I thought what the heck is going on I haven't been doing anything different... And duh, That's when it dawned on me that I had totally forgotten to put on my Jamaican oil during my night time routine for the last few days (I was just so busy and I can be absent-minded sometimes when I get really busy). I even noticed that eczema spot on my forehead above my eyebrow came back... So when I realized what I was forgetting to do each night before going to bed, I whipped out the black Jamaican oil, left it on overnight and in the morning, the nasty eczema flare-ups disapated or went away completely. The first flare up that came back was a doozy so it took a couple days to go away with the Jamaican oil, but it went away and I didn't have any hair loss from the flare up (like I do usually). I can't tell you how much I love this stuff. No more having to put peppermint oil on my eczema flare-ups to get some relief. No more having to use that nasty sulfur shampoo that smells awful and takes away the color in your hair. I even use this oil as a moisturizer under my eyes and my eyes have never been warm moisturized. Say goodbye to $60 under eye creams because this stuff does a way better job. I even use it as an all-over hair conditioner. I use it to moisturize my dry scalp, and the huge Austin Powers "I have gold" dandruff flakes dissapeared since I started using this. From scalp to ends of my hair, I let it sit overnight and in the morning it washes right off without trouble and my hair looks so moisturized afterward. This stuff is magic and I can't recommend it enough, especially if you suffer from bald spots from eczema or painful eczema flare-ups like I do. It even helps to repair really damaged dry hair if you use it as an all-over moisturizer overnight once a week or so. Magic. A thick mango smelling bottle of magic. The only downfall is that since it's mango it does stain yellow so be careful if you use it as an overnight treatment put a towel down and don't get it on your clothes. Hope it works for you like it does for me.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing product! 4c natural hair, eyebrows, edges, hair growth APPROVED! I
*by J***N on November 5, 2017*

I'm a 20-something college student with an underactive thyroid due to Hashimoto's and this castor oil has been a God send. Due to my thyroid being unstable for the past couple of months, I've had issues with my eyebrows thinning, extremely dry and breaking hair, and my edges disappearing. As a result, I had to big chop my hair from 10 inches to 3-4 inches in August. I started using this in late September. I use it for my eyebrows, edges, and scalp care and mix it in with my deep conditioner. I've been massaging my edges with this every night for the past 4 weeks and they are actually filling in, I am shocked because I'd completely given up on them. My scalp loves it, I've gotten about an inch of hair growth in the past 4 weeks from massaging my scalp with this every other day( and my hair only usually grows 1/3inch a month). It seals in moisture so incredibly on my hair and keeps it very hydrated for up to 5 days. I also applied this on my eyebrows once a day to combat eyebrow thinning on the outer third of my eyebrows ,which is a weird symptom of my thyroid condition, and my eyebrows are completely filled in and thicker. I previously purchased the papaya and tee tree from the same brand one and while it worked well, the scent was too pungent for my taste. But this vitamin A,D and E castor oil smells absolutely phenomenal! If you have fine hair, I think this brand(Jamaican Mango & Lime) will work well because it's slightly diluted with other natural oils like Grapeseed oil and won't weigh your hair down like other brands, but it's still thick and viscous as one would expect from Jamaican black castor oil. Overall, this is a great product. Cannot live without this now. I'm running out and placing another order, this time I'm going to be purchasing the 6 pack to ensure I never run out.
