This is truly an excellent product; it took us a few weeks to make the (mental) transition to these from microfiber dish cloths, but once you are comfortable with them, you will stop comparing and start totally enjoying them! Versatile, easy to rinse grub and grime out of after wiping counters or appliances. We wash them in a small load in our washer on high temp, they come out ready to go back to work. It's big for us that if/when they degrade, they are not sending more nanoparticles of plastic out into the world, too. They hold up better than our (previous) microfibers in terms of not getting thin, staying absorbent, and ease of washing once removed from the kitchen. We now have three sets (of 10) on rotation and keeping things clean is better than ever before.

There are Swedish Dishcloths and then there are Superscandi Swedish dishcloths. Superscandi ones are the absolute best. I incorrectly ordered one of the other ones and the first time I used it, I knew it was a FAKE. Made in China! I have been using the Superscandi ones for years and love them. No smell. Just toss them in the washing machine and they are like new! I use them like paper towels and for dish cloths. Wouldn't have a regular dish cloth in my kitchen. After a few days they start to stink! Not Superscandi! Well worth the extra few dollars. Everything is biodegradable, even the package they are in from the factory!

A different type of dishcloth! I wasn’t sure what to think about these Swedish dishcloth’s. After using them for awhile I have decided that they are great! No more germy sponges or dishcloths. The superscandi dry quickly and are machine washable. The material is very durable and the appearance is fine. I got the gray color. The turned out to be a very economical choice because they can be used over and over again.

First, ignore the naysayers! They have obviously gotten hung up on words, like the perhaps imperfect name "dishcloth", and on expectations, partly from that misnomer but only partly, but hey, that's their problem! (Can we not reply to reviews these days? on one occasion I replied in detail to naysayers about a particular rice bowl, cuz they simply didn't understand, for example, that if you don't want something to break, period, buy plastic!) So what? use it and get used to how to use it - including coming to realize that of course it needs to be damp or sometimes a bit moister when used - and including hey, if the mess is really yecchy, use a paper towel first to pick up the yechh and throw it away, then wipe clean with this - these things do wipe *quite* clean! not operating-room clean, but clean.Second, our review: Absolutely wonderful! looking at "ideas" just below, wonderful in color, appearance, thickness, softness, size... and as for drying performance, with one well rinsed and squeezed, wiping dry a kitchen counter or kitchen table with one for the kitchen, or bathroom counters and more with one for the bathroom, it works wonderfully! it's obviously not intended for drying dishes (not really clean enough, and not absorbent in the right way), for which of course one uses a clean cloth. Hey, curmudgeon naysayer with the very long review - laughing here - are you going to use a rag when you spill a container of water on the floor or counter??? I'm 78, guess I could choose to be a curmudgeon, but I'll pass on that... these are *far* superior to any rag for this purpose, and at my age, obviously I too grew up using rags! ...mop up more than a rag with one swipe, and more quickly, then squeeze out *much* more quickly... and do it again! And by the way, we generally use one in the kitchen for maybe a month, before repurposing it to, say, mold, or cleaning a machine in the communal laundry room (often also yecch!) before using.Absolutely wonderful! ...that being all I *intended* to say when I came here! :-)

This is my second purchase of these sponge cloths after 3 yrs from my first purchase. They are very durable, dry quickly, don’t smell and seem to last forever. When I can no longer get stains out from , mostly wine, I clip 2 corners and put them in the cleaning cloths drawer.I wish I had or knew someone who had a compost pile because these things just keep going!!I don’t think they stain any easier or more than any other cloths of any fabric.I disinfect them by heating it wet in the microwave with a cup of water for 1 and 30. I change them about 1x week or so depending on how they look. They are easy to squeeze out with (don’t twist them!)even my arthritic hand.I have the pink, yellow, blue color group so I can indicate easily that I’ve put out a new cloth.

You know I gotta tell you these cloths are awesome! Just what I needed. I’m saving so much money not having to buy paper towels and they don’t get stinky! I can rinse them and rinse them. They’re strong and I’m going to put them in the wash. Really get yourself a pack of these if this kind of stuff matters. Does to me.
