**Q: Does it crimp?**
A: Yes, it does, but it’s a basic couple of crimp spots on the side of the handles as the picture shows. It’s primary function is wire stripping

**Q: Anybody try using this to strip 10 awg wire?  if so how did it work?  thanks**
A: 10 Gage is small wire. So, it should work fine. I've used it to strip 20 amp house wire with no problem. I use the top head not the strippers in the handles. All of these designs seem to work OK.

**Q: is there a warranty on these tools?**
A: Only thru Amazon.  Mine worked fine.  It's not a heavy use stripper. If you need that then get a Klein.

This is a great wire stripper for all size wires. It will strip back wires on those flimsy test leads to your electrical wires in your home. I have used every function these strippers have to offer and I'm really happy with it. My one gripe is that it seems to slip on some wires which requires me to hold the gripping jaw closed with my free hand. This design allows you to strip wires quickly, and the guide allows you to quickly set the depth. I do worry about the quality of the red adjustable stopper because it's plastic and sometimes it gets in the way. That can be resolved by unlocking it and extending it outwards. A few times, a piece of insulation gets stuck in the inner workings and stops it from functioning, but you can tip it over and the loose piece will fall out. Otherwise, the build quality feels great. It's sturdy and the handle design that includes various sized crimpers has proven to be handy. I can't attest to the longevity of the blades, but I'm sure they'll last a while.
