V-LIGHT Dual Bulb Professional Clamp On Task Lamp, Extra Bright Fluorescent and CFL, Heavy Duty Task Work Light, Architect Style, Black

This is a dream come true for making art. The light is LARGE. I have a 4’X 8’ drafting table and needed a large light that would expand to the widths of the table. This did the trick. It’s sturdy and the clamp is very secure. The ring bulb is a cool blueish tone. The center bulb is a warm reddish tone. You can choose either bulbs alone or have both on at the same time. Together the bulbs make a beautiful full spectrum of white light. Both bulbs are very bright. I’m a Visual Artist and Art Educator and need good lighting when working. I searched for a reliable product and finally found it.

I have tried a number of different lamps for my easel, and I dare say, I think I’ve found the right one for me. Having two lamps is great, though I think the flourscent lamp could be a bit brighter. I like that the other is a standard fixture. The CFL bulb that it shipped with was broken when the lamp arrived, but that’s ok because I was going to use a Phillips hue LED instead (for white balancing).I paint watercolors, and I work on a tilt any where from 15 to 90 degrees. I need a lamp that can tilt with the work surface. This doesn’t quite fit the bill in that regard - BUT, because it’s easy to remove and remount, I was able to make a solution where I can mount it on the left when I’m working at 45 degrees or higher, and on the right when I’m working at 45 degrees or lower.I’m really happy with the purchase. It’s huge, and it stays where you put it. It’s the best lamp of the four I’ve tried so far.

Absolutely love this lamp. I was worried it would be a little too large for my desk, and although the lamp is a bit larger than your typical clamp architects lamp, the lamp's quality is incredible: it seems very sturdy, and offers two different options for type of light. This purchase is a much needed improvement in my work area. I would highly recommend it.

light. Where I want it when I want it. The dual bulbs are great. Regardless of time of day I never paint without it. I’m very pleased with this lamp and hope it lasts a very long time.

Well made and sturdy. Love the long arm and the option of light types to choose from.

An excellent task lamp for my drawing table

I’ve been teaching from home for most of the year and with ceiling lights I often have trouble reading things. This task light works perfectly for that

The included CFL bulb (the center one) literally popped and went up in smoke as soon as I turned it on. At least it wasn't the halo light that would be trickier to replace. Still makes me very nervous to use now--replaced with LED. Seems like a good light otherwise..?
