This fits perfectly with my head unit, you have to look real hard to even see that it isn't factory fit!

Perfect fit for my 2007 F 150. I had a different brand before that failed after 5 years. This one was a little sturdier, but has a 1/16th inch gap around the screen. The other brand did not have a gap. Doesn't bother me and it really isn't noticeable.

Based on reviews I went initially with a Metra dash kit even though over the years I've been happier with Scosche. I should have went with Scosche from the start. There were terrible gaps with the Metra kit especially at the bottom of the radio I could see into the dash it looked terrible in my 2005 F250. I returned it along with the Android double din Atto radio (junk) and swapped it for a pioneer with Android apps and this kit which fit perfectly.

Fits my 05 F150 just fine, but sets the face of my head unit a bit too deep innthe dash, making the use of my single tiny button/knob right at the edge of the unit a bit of a pain.

I actually got this after I didn't love the first Metra kit that I got. I don't really love any of the 3 available kits I got, including this one. There is a "lip" on the bottom of the opening that protrudes a little further than the top side. This is on both Metra's I got and this Scosche. I really didn't like it at all on the first Metra before I put the stereo in the car, so I ordered another Metra and this one, as I didn't want to screw around with the mount after spending so much on the stereo. After putting the stereo in the car I didn't mind the protrusion as much as when it was out, though I still think it would be much better flush. I chose the 2nd Metra kit that I ordered overall because the Scosche kit didn't fit quite as well. (The 2nd Metra kit was the one that was double din only, rather than the one which would work wither either a double or single din / shelf. They were pretty much the same but you had to bust out a tab for the single din and it left marks.

Seems to have been washed in hot water & dried for too long. The facia was very loose in the dash opening and a double din stereo could NOT fit through. I tried one & thinking I had a dud, returned it for another. Same problem with the second. This is in a 2007 Ford Focus

Durable. Easy to use. Compatible with 2006 Ford. Clean look.

Took a risk with it as it showed it did not fit my car, but when it was delivered it fit perfectly. You wouldn’t know it wasn’t OEM. The biggest issue is the screw placements you need to make sure your screws are in the front to be able to mount it. The tabs on the side that you need to break off need to be fully broken off or they will conflict with the metal caging inside the dash. Does not come with screws to attach kit to your stereo and use the screws that came with your car originally for the mounting to the car.

Gaps everywhere and doesn't fit properly. Accidently snapped a tab when reinstalling after looking for a rattle in the Dash and bought this. Will use until replacement Metra arrives.
