Review: It's garlic. - Ironically had a mildly garlic flavor, despite being nothing but literal garlic. The granules are a lot smaller than I anticipated. Went great in mashed potatoes and, the original reason I ordered these, as a ramen topping. Might work well in one of those parmesan jar shakers; they're dry even though it's fried. There's a lot, so it'll last long (and at less than $10 for a lb it's a great value). Store in a better sealed container though, the resealable bag gets sticky from frequent use.

**Q: Where is the garlic grown?**
A: It seems to vary. I've gotten alot of different fried garlics that are grown in Thailand. This particular brand says its from China, so it could be grown there too, or somewhere else. Doesn't seem to indicate if it's imported from elsewhere.
If you want one from Thailand, I recommend the Maesri bottle of fried garlic. Their fried shallots are also incredible.

**Q: What are the ingredients for this product? I need to know the oil it is cooked in.**
A: In the second picture there's a nutrition facts ingredient is garlic and vegetable oil..

**Q: Has anyone used this for baking bread?**
A: Yes and it’s good too !!!
