Checking the balance of a blade can be achieved with a peg / nail that is stuck in a wall or post, but using a tool that is specifically designed for the balance of a mower blade will insure a more accurate balance. I'm trying to balance a blade with a 2.06" hole in the center.** A: I was wondering if someone who already purchased one of these Oregon balancers could measure the diameter of each cylinder on this balancer and post them here. I'm assuming that you'll use a digital caliper for this purpose, I'd prefer if you'd measure them in the metric system, for e.g. 8.26 mm, 9.57 mm, etc., but of course, I will be very happy for the numbers if they're in inches.I need these numbers, because I do believe, that this balancer will only work for you on the satisfactory level if the diameter of the given cylinder that your blade could still slide on, it is exactly the same size as the center hole of the blade minus 0.1-0.2 millimeters.
