It’s quite difficult to unplug accessories without unplugging/disrupting the whole doc. If you have a case on your laptop, the product depth is short & will be “floating” above table, making it a bit suspect to let the USB-C ports supporting all load. The load should matter except when plugging & unplugging accessories. I think the look is handsome with no cable, but the practicality (& maybe longevity) are a bit suspect. I would prefer one with a cable attachment between the computer & dock, but Hyper doesn’t offer one, that supplies the proper power for the larger laptops. I have the 16” MBP & was told by their support department that this is the only one supplying proper power. I also wish this doc had an Ethernet port, like many others. They do offer several options w/ Ethernet, but Only for smaller (lower power) laptops.
