Amazon Basics Intelligent Digital Battery Charger for 4 AA, AAA, Black

I’m very happy with this charger. It works reliably and charges my AA batteries surprisingly fast compared to my old one. I also appreciate that it’s not limited to Amazon Basics batteries, it charges my Duracell rechargeables with no issues at all. The included batteries hold a good amount of power and perform well in everyday devices. Overall, it’s a great, practical set for anyone looking for affordable and efficient rechargeable batteries. Highly recommended.

This is the best digital battery charger i've ever had. It has an digital display which shows you how much battery each battery has, and fills up as the battery fills. Takes less than an hour to charge and you can charge 4 at once, either AA or AAA.

While most chargers you give you a light indication that your batteries are charged this gives you a visual display of how much is charge is left in the batteries and when charging how much is left to go before it thinks its fulled charged the batteries (more on this shortly). The unit can charge either AA and AAA with a charge range of 4 to 7 hours depending on size of batteries you have on charge. To use its simple put the batteries into the charger before plugging into the means (i was using a UK version) and off it goes. The unit does test the batteries for damaged cells and will warn the you according to manual but as yet not come across this with the batteries i'm using. Coming back to when it thinks its fulled charged the batteries. Unplugging the charger and plugging in again with the same batteries of which according to the display where fully charged about 3 minutes ago . It starts charging the batteries again admitting this time display flashing a 3/4 out of charge for two of them and 4/4 for third one instead of just 1/4 for all 3. Yet the device does come with Delta V cut off detection to protect from overcharge so its kind of concerning of is the unit actually over charging the same batteries only 3 mintue ago was fully charged according to the display unless indeed the batteries had lost some charge while sitting in the device yet this i find hard to believe. Otherwise this is Fast No-Nonsense Charger that does what it says on the Tin. Update - The Unit does display a warning message of bad cell when charging a battery that has a bad cell inside and will not charge it.

First thing to note is that the batteries are good. As a test, I have used them to power a toy, a tv remote and a game controller and have had no issues. I believe the Amazon Basics charger under-charges the batteries. I put them in an efest charger after they were fully charged and managed to put quite a bit more juice in them, over 100mah in fact. This is really just an observation rather than a criticism as the efest charger cost significantly more than the Amazon charger and I would expect it to be a better piece of kit to be fair.

We bought this mainly because we needed the aa batteries, so we can't comment on the AAA ones as we haven't tested them. The batteries do work, they recharge and hold the charge well. However our charger came to us faulty. If your batteries for some reason won't hold charge well, it may be the charger not the batteries that is the problem. Don't be like us and toss good batteries away think they are the problem right away. Amazon support for their products is amazing, when we explained that the charger is likely the problem as the new batteries had the same issue with not charging, after testing it for a while, they allowed us to return the product, refund and rebuy it. We paid more for the fancy charger with the screen indicator, hoping it is better built and give us more information on what the problem is. And this time it does charge our batteries, also showing the previous charger didn't charge our batteries at all as they were all almost empty. We are very happy that Amazon is willing to take responsibility for their faulty products and take them back. So we wouldn't worry about getting a faulty one as you can just exchange it. The peace of mind helps a lot should you be considering this item

It seems like a good product. Let down by the lack of clear instructions. The charger states that slow blinking lights means charging and fast blinking lights means there is a fault. It seems like there is only fast blinking lights and faster blinking lights in reality which will leave you looking for reassurance the product isn’t faulty. The blinking lights as a default indicator are obviously annoying. Perfectly functional but I’d recommend spending a bit more and get one with a clearer charging indicator.

Prodotto utilissimo e green. Per chi come me ha un bambino piccolo e molti giocattoli a batteria, è la soluzione utile per risparmiare e per non inquinare l’ambiente. Si ricaricano velocemente e mantengono bene la carica, vi suggerisco di utilizzare o comprare un caricatore a ricarica veloce per utilizzare al meglio questo prodotto. Assolutamente un prodotto utile che non deve mancare in casa.
