Industrial Pedestal Fan

This fan is exactly what we needed for a hot stuffy room. my room is small maybe 10 x 20 and the air flow is strong and cools off the whole room. It's a little noisy but we got used to it and sleep well. I love this fan. Please make sure that you read instructions correctly when assembling. parts are heavy duty. The base alone weighs like 30 lbs. Make sure you don't put fan blade on backwards.

This fan is truly industrial. It is rugged and heavy. Air movement in my 3 car garage is exceptional. I wish there was a little more difference between the Hi and Low settings but that is a minor issue. The fan does sound like an everglade air boat. It is VERY loud. In a garage it's great, on a screened porch this would be too much fan though.

Great fan, moves a lot of air. Heavy with a strong build to it.

Quit working after a year of light use. Could not get customer support. Run away from this piece of crap.

Sturdy! Easy to clean. Does not produce as much air flow as a 30" fan should make. We have 22" floor fans that produce more air flow, and they are MUCH quieter too. The "angle of attack" the fan blades have is actually quite shallow - lending to the meager air flow for a fan this size. Bottom line: A bit noisy for indoor use. Air flow is (by comparison to others that are even smaller) is disappointing. UPDATE: Puzzled by the seemingly mediocre air flow (and to lesser extent the noise) for a fan this size and power, I revisited the fan assembly and had one of those "AH-HA!" moments! In my initial haste to assemble the fan, I found that I'd installed the blade assembly facing the wrong way (the pitch angle should increase toward the FRONT edge of the blades...DUH!) But, it only took a couple minutes to flip the blades around and reattach the wire screen. Wow! What a big difference!! maybe TWICE the air flow compared to before, and about half the noise. I upgraded my rating from a "3" to a "4", until it has some run time: want to see how well it holds up before rating it a "5". It is maybe a bit noisy to have next to the TV. But, it drowns out "street noises" for night sleeping. Barring any unexpected problems, YES, I'd buy it again.
