**Q: How long are the two screw-in center support rods?  I need to use this kit to add 3" to a 2.5" projection rod and make it a 5.5" projection.  Will the center supports work with that?**
A: It should be about 4" to 5". I needed a 7" clearance because I have traversing rods, so I used both the small and large center support rods that come in the packet and duct taped them together. It holds up the rod pretty well.

**Q: Will this fit Graber rods?**
A: Wrong rod, these are extensions for a curtain rod.

**Q: Do I only need one kit to extend the projection three inches?**
A: Yes, one kit is packed with 6 one inch extenders, giving you the ability to extend 3 inches.
