Shame its a slightly different footprint to the original model that it replaced, but there are numerous fixing holes on the back plate so I only had to drill one new hole. Overall very satisfied with this product and I am expecting another 10+yr of use. Easy to replace an existing mechanical thermostat as just 2 wires to connect. Battery backup is great as it means that you don't have to reset the clock or programming when there is a power cut. Review: This model not WiFi - This item listed as WiFi but it was not WiFi, it needs to be wired in to the boiler. ## Features - Free UK Delivery ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B076LS4GGP | | Backlight | Yes | | Best Sellers Rank | 257,479 in DIY & Tools ( See Top 100 in DIY & Tools ) 189 in Home Programmable Thermostats | | Brand | SIEMENS | | Brand Name | SIEMENS | | Colour | Colour May Vary | | Connectivity Protocol | Wi-Fi | | Connectivity Technology | Wi-Fi | | Control Method | Touch | | Control Type | Button Control | | Controller Type | Mechanical knob | | Controller type | Mechanical knob | | Customer Reviews | 3.6 out of 5 stars 151 Reviews | | Display Type | LCD | | Global Trade Identification Number | 07612914110930 | | Included Components | Thermostat | | Item Type Name | Thermostat | | Item Weight | 0.33 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | Siemens | | Manufacturer Part Number | TRV_2136973 | | Model Name | Siemens RDJ100 PROGRAMMABLE Thermostat | | Model Number | RDJ100 | | Model name | Siemens RDJ100 PROGRAMMABLE Thermostat | | Mounting Type | Wall Mount | | Number of Batteries | 2 AAA batteries required. | | Number of Items | 1 | | Power Source | Programmable | | Product Style | Modern | | Special Features | Frost Protection, Programmable | | Special feature | Frost Protection , Programmable | | Specific Uses For Product | Boiler | | Specific uses for product | Boiler | | Temperature Control Type | Programmable | | Voltage | 1.5 Volts | ## Product Details - **Brand:** SIEMENS - **Model name:** Siemens RDJ100 PROGRAMMABLE Thermostat - **Controller type:** Mechanical knob - **Special feature:** Frost Protection, Programmable - **Colour:** Colour May Vary - **Specific uses for product:** Boiler - **Temperature Control Type:** Programmable - **Connectivity technology:** Wi-Fi - **Included components:** Thermostat - **Power source:** Programmable ## Images ![Siemens RDJ100 Programmable Thermostat - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/618FKYiXT-L.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: I have a rdh10rf control unit and want to upgrade to this unit. is this compatible with my rcr10/433-gb receiver** A: I ended up sending this back as it wouldn’t sync to the transmitter already next to my boiler. Ended up having to buy a new receiver and transmitter. **Q: Is this compatable with rdj10rf receiver? the receiver is already installed and working. our rdj10rf theromostat is broken, but receiver is still ok.** A: It replaced a thermostat which was not a Siemans model **Q: Does this models screen light up?** A: Don’t know as I had to send it back. It appears that just buying the thermostat was not an option. I got a heating engineer to source me a new thermostat and transmitter and fit it for me. **Q: What are the correct dimensions? The ones listed are the size of a shoe box!** A: It is 120mm high, 90mm wide. 26.9mm deep. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great little thermostat - easy to install and easy to use *by G***R on 8 July 2020* I bought this to replace an older version of the same model (~10-12y old) which was still working well but I wanted to update and refresh as I have just finished decorating my hall.
