They were all cut the same so lining them up was fine.As noted by some others, the glue on the sticky backing is extremely strong. Really do be careful to line up before sticking down. I got one wrong and had to pull so hard to remove it I managed to pull off the wall paper and some plaster from the wall. Luckily we are decorating soon (Well we are now!
