Beck/Arnley 1030504 Axle Nut

Exactly what I needed! This was the last piece to get my brother’s car back on the road! Fit perfectly and is a nice heavy metal. Worked perfectly, great value!

Check parts #'s with one listed at reputable auto parts store, like auto zone or orilleys. They sell the same parts with same #'s. I only mentioned it because I noticed people complaining/ return due to not compatible. This part was listed on Amazon as for rear Axel but it is for front ( possibly both IDK) and it is of higher quality then others. Nice zink finish Just like original OEM Honda.

If your replacing a front axle or CV boot on a Toyota you'll need one of these to complete the job. The original nut is a twelve point 30mm that is staked to the axle meaning you have to either pry up the bent down part of the shoulder or cut the bent down part off with a dremel tool. They sell a special tool to pry the staked shoulder up but if you have some small punches or chisels you can probably get by using those. Don't remove the nut without prying up the deformed shoulder unless you are replacing the axle and don't care about damaging the threads. The only down side to this nut is it takes a different socket size to put it back on. If you have a 1 1/4" or 32mm impact socket you're good to go. I had to buy the 30mm twelve point socket to remove the original nut as it is unusual for an impact socket to be anything but six point.

I had to do the infamous Subaru rear hub bearing assembly replacement and needed a replacement axle nut. These are gold zinc coated for corrosion resistance, have a flanged base (base towards the bearing) and very reasonable lip for locking into place with a chisel. I can easily get parts with a Subaru part number on the bag, but I prefer these. I've had no problems on the one I've installed so far for over 25,000 miles (and I do see it when I take the wheel off) and I have three others on standby when I end up replacing the other bearings. No matter what brand you choose, make sure you use your torque wrench and follow the latest torque values for your application!

Larger socket than OEM uses, sadly.... For Prius 07 at least. Have to buy another huge socket now... Guess it also uses 1¼" socket so could have used that, lacking the metric size large enough... (32mm)

This part is around $30- $40 bucks at a parts store. While I don't know about its durability and reliability, it seems like the mechanic did not have any complains about it and was able to put it on, and I had no issues. For $6, are you kidding me? Thanks to seller for selling this.

Had a clunking noise when shifting car forward to reverse, and vice versa. Guessed that noise was the loose axle nut. I decided this part was the cheapest to try first anyway, and I was right. Make sure to lubricate axle threads and shoulder of nut with oil and torque to 133 ft lbs. Don't forget to fold over lock tab.

As an Engineer nuts are my thing. Who would think it would be hard to locate a new replacement for a damaged nut. But apparently it is. This nut 1030504...i find to be a 32mm AF ( across flats)..21mm thread with 1.5mm pitch on the threads...but make ur own mind up. It appears you have to quote your car reg or vin and the sellers/ car parts personnel will only look in thier stores for that reg....NOT THE NUT SIZE. OR NUT FORM...like this one ,anodised and with a deformable flange for locking to the axial thread cutout. My use. A honda civic 1.6i vtec se mk7 front driveshaft hub nut. Perfect fit. Incredible value for money. Easy to use. Fast delivery. Good seller. Arrived early. What more can you ask for! Thnx beck arnley...i wish id found you earlier.

Even though this is an aftermarket product, the build quality and fit is exactly like the OEM axle nuts. These should always be replaced whenever they are removed so this provides a more affordable alternative compared to getting them from the dealer. Fits my 2000 Acura TL just as Amazon says it does. Just make sure you double check that you buy the Rear nuts or the Front nuts as they are different.
