I purchased these bubble garlands to decorate my child's bathroom, which has a "Catlantis" theme, and they do not disappoint! Each of the four garlands spans at least four feet on a fine, silvery cord that fades into the background against medium and darker-toned painted walls. If you're worried about how obvious the garland thread is, it is very unobtrusive. The 'bubbles' themselves are flat and iridescent, given a bit of dimension by soft white frosting that fades right in. Better still, the bubbles come in lots of different sizes and the photos here are accurate: there are large ones right down to small ones not much larger than a loonie or a golf ball. The garlands weigh very little; two pieces of magic tape hold them up adequately against the wall, though you want to be careful detangling them or unfolding them because the aforementioned silver thread connecting them is still pretty fragile. These really are a great buy -- perfect for decorating for a party or, in our case, long-term.
