It’s good stuffs! The chalk is easy for both my older and younger kiddos to hold. The color is vibrant and lasts long than cheap chalk. We all definitely like it! The chalk is soft enough that you won't have to scribble back and forth to get good color, but not so soft that they crumble. However, the color produced by the chalk sticks is not the same colors that you see on the box that is shown on the website. There is a bright pink (I thought it would be red), yellow as shown, bright blue (really a nice color), orange, and an aqua/turquoise shade (not bright green like I had expected). The colors look really good together, and there is enough of a variety to create cool artwork. You can combine the blue and yellow to get a better green and the pink and blue to get a purplish color. The chalk sticks came in a box similar to a crayon box that can be used for storage because it has a lid that you can close.
