Is that normal?** A: You should be able to see the light otherwise the connection is poor. Try pushing the probe into holder deeper. Otherwise return machine **Q: Does this device use the argon and neon?** A: The unit I purchased came with the Argon (purple glow) electrodes. I believe you can also obtain it with the neon (orange) electrodes. Alternatively, if you want both, you are able to purchase the electrode set separately. Will update after a period of use. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good product *by L***B on 27 March 2025* Still good after yrs ### ⭐ Broke on 20th use *by N***H on 1 December 2024* Revised: the silver casing of one of the wands broke off in the chamber. No force was uses: it just disconnected from the glass. The entire device is now unusable. I had my initial concerns now confirmed: very poor quality. The product seems to work fine but I'm not sure it is entirely safe. Even on the lowest setting the upper part of the handle delivers an electric shock when touched. I think you should be able to touch the plastic handle without an electric shock! I'm not sure how it works, but the current flowing through gas-filled glass tube isn't the same as the current leaking out through the electric section of the wand.
