Ice Lighter

My advice to everyone, whether you smoke or not, get a good quality lighter, and you can't beat Zippo. They're well known for their outstanding quality and durability. I don't need to expand on that, as it's pretty common knowledge. Probably the most well known brand, and easily the best value. What I can say about this one, with the Candy Apple Red finish, looks amazing. I've owned a few Zippos, with some fun artwork on them, but I always love the minimalist style of either a chrome or brushed steel, or a single color. This is the later. Very classy, very stylish. The red pops. It's bold, and exciting. I dig it.

Zippo lighter, classic, but looks better than the plain ones. Built solid. As long as you dont mind keeping a zippo full, its an experience all its own.

Like many people have said. It's a Zippo, the internal parts are all the same, just pick a case you like. Well, I LOVE this case. It's smooth like you would expect, but it does feel slightly different than my other Zippo which is just the classic polished one. I really like the brushed and intentionally scratched pattern. This one won't show fingerprints, and wont show any hairline scratches (unlike my polished one). I think this finish will look exactly the same years from now. Another review mentioned the lid being flimsy. It's been my experience that with tons of use (or idly flipping it open while you write a review) the lids will get a tiny bit more play in them, especially if you do tricks. I'm using this as my everyday carry. So i expect the lid to loosen up with prolonged use. Side note. You know how when you buy a car and all of a sudden you see tons of that car on the road. Well once you're carrying a lighter you'll be amazed at how many beautiful women need a light...like all the time. Don't be the loser that pats his pockets for no reason and says "sorry I don't smoke" be like Donald freaking Draper and give her a light with something way classier than a 99 cent gas station Bic. Then say something that's charming, but way too bold for the situation. She'll feign being offended, but then smile coyly and respond with ambiguous innuendo. Before she even asks you to call her. Hand her your business card. The one on the thick card stock that you only printed 50 of to hand to important people. She'll be impressed. She'll call.* *Results not typical. I am very satisfied with with this lighter. Some people note that the color was somewhat different than the picture that is posted for it - given the different color settings on a person monitor, and the different settings on whatever camera the image was recorded with it's virtually impossible to accurately identify whether the picture you see will accurately portray the exact shade of the lighter. For example, in my opinion, when my lighter came it is nearly exactly the same shade that is shown on my monitor in the picture. Suffice to say, though, that this lighter is very handsome - For my personal description, the color is a deep red with what almost looks like a brushed metal look (however the finish is not actually brushed metal - it's a powder coat and is smooth to the touch). Personally, I have kept this lighter in my pocket (the same one I keep my keys in) for the past several weeks. I think that there are likely a few new scratches in the coat, however I cannot make out what would be "new" and what is the original design - also, the finish is still smooth to the touch. Either my hypothesis that there must be at least a few new scratches is correct and just cannot identify them, or the finish is more durable than anticipated (I've dropped it a handful of times - It's had a sufficient breaking in period I'd think). In my pocket, however, the smooth finish has developed some "smeared" blemishes (not permanent), probably from oils or grime on my hands. These are just like the spots that develop on the screen of your phone and the like. While they do not particularly bother me (I am just casually carrying this in my pocket - I expect it to be aesthetically annihilated in a short time), they should wash off easily enough for those who are bothered. The only reason I did not give this a 5 star is rather trivial and does not greatly inconvenience me - when I received the lighter, opening the mechanism caused the insert to slide up ever so slightly. After being opened 3-4 times the insert would need to be reseated at the bottom of the case to close. In an attempt to remedy this, I followed the instructions I had seen given by many sources online to remedy this issue by trying to "pinch" the middle section of the case a bit to tighten the it. As it would seem, though, the metal that this case is composed of is remarkably elastic, and despite all of my efforts I was unable to plastically deform the actual case at all, and the insert remained loose - in my efforts, though, the significant elastic deformation the case was subjected to did, however, loosen the hinge between the top and bottom of the case. I seemed to be unable to tighten the lid any using conventional methods, so the top cover does pivot a very small amount ( <1mm of play at the front edge of the case). The loose lid was my own doing, however, the loose nature of the insert's friction seal remained. I did ultimately solve this by always taking a small (~1/2 inch wide) strip of paper and wrapping it underneath the insert so that when I pushed in the insert the paper coming up on each side sufficiently tightened the seating of the insert so it did not slide.

Lovely colour and well made lighter. Gift box is really good too. Was bought as a gift and will be testing it out in a week. Fingers crossed it works as well as it looks.

Zippo en laiton chromé avec finition " Street " recouvert d’une couche translucide très résistante rappelant par sa couleur et sa texture les confiseries " Pomme d’amour " que l’on trouve surtout dans les fêtes foraines. Souvenirs d’enfance… Belle qualité de fabrication et c’est un Zippo donc il est pratiquement indestructible. Livré dans sa boîte standard de présentation Zippo avec documentation en plusieurs langues dont le français et fabriqué à Bradford, Pennsylvanie - USA en juillet 2016. Marquage " G 16 " sous le briquet et " H 16 " ( Août 2016 ) sur l'insert essence. Référence Zippo : " 21063 CANDY APPLE RED MT ". Poids 58 grammes. Garanti à vie. Pensez à acheter de l'essence à briquets et un jeu de pierres à briquets. Les Zippo ne sont jamais livrés remplis d'essence pour des raisons de sécurité. Petit conseil : Si vous souhaitez réduire l'évaporation de l'essence qui se produit inévitablement dans tout briquet à essence, vous pouvez découper une pièce de cuir très fine à la dimension du fond de l'insert. Vous gagnerez en étanchéité. ;) Evitez du caoutchouc ou du plastique car cela se dissoudrait avec l’essence.

Habe dieses ganz chicke Feuerzeug bestellt, aber es funktionierte nicht. Eine Anfrage per Mail brachte leider auch nichts, da keine Antwort. Das Feuerzeug kam an und sah gut aus. Das war es dann leider aber auch schon. Ich benötigte 20 bis 30 Veruche um es zum Brennen zu bringen. Ich musste leider Zubehör im Wert von ungefähr zehr Euro kaufen, damit das Feuerzeug geht. Der Händler hat sich nicht bei mir gemeldet, aber Amazon hat da in diesem Fall sehr schnell und kulant gehabndelt. Vielen Dank an Amazon, den Händler kann ich nicht empfehlen.
