Did a little research online and learned everything needed to know. After a few weeks and some good lighting, my plants are thriving. The only issue is that the drain valve leaked slightly, so I bought a short piece of 1/2 inch ID clear plastic tubing and bent it over and tied it off with a zip tie. Problem solved with little effort and cost. Also, it would have been nice to have some instructions, but all the info can be found online with a little google research. I highly recommend this kit for you beginners. Just make sure you do your research on lighting, keeping pH level at optimal, sanitization methods, and proper fertilizer and vitamins for your plants. Enjoy your new hobby!Update: I moved this up to a 5 star since it is working so well. Plants are absolutely thriving in this environment. Only on week two with 4 tomato plants growing inside under a red/blue grow light. The fertilizer mixing is a little tedious, everything is measured in metrics, but thats another product.The con I have is that you need to change the water and chemicals once a week and therefore I have to pick this up and haul it outside, dump it, clean it and add more nutrients.
