Stress management
Had to buy this book for a class I am taking. Has been very helpful for the class and even outside of the class. Great book for those who don't know how to structure a stress management plan.

great help
Really a great help. This was required reading for a stress management training that I decided to work with. It looks at all aspects of your life.

Used and Damaged
This book came with unknown stains on the book jacket, tears along the edges of the book jacket, a small piece of paper inside for a bookmark, and had a really pungent smell. I was definitely sent a used book which is not what I paid for.

Excellent and time tested information!
Well worth the money! Stress reduction tips, assertiveness information, relaxation, guided imagery; this book is packed with excellent tips and information. Although written several years ago, I continue to use the information and to recommend this book again and again.

Good book
I am a Master's Level clinician working on my doctorate in clinical psychology. This book is not as great as its 1985 predecessor. In that previous edition, there were more relaxation scripts that were excellent to use personally and with clients/patients. This edition acts more like a reference book as well as an advertisement for the author's website (which incidentally did not have much on it that was helpful for me). I did like some of the suggestions regarding the use of technology and how it can cause stress or reduce it by the way it is used.

Very enjoyable
I'm about halfway through this book, it is a very enjoyable read. Easy to follow, you could just pick the bits you want to read rather than reading it all. The exercises are easy to understand and follow.

Stress Management
This book is real, covers the stress you maybe feeling from all angles. There are many pearls of wisdom in the form of quotations and advice and it is easy to read and understand. I found it enjoyable and helpful.
