Stainless steel grill grate

So much easier to clean than the coated steel. No flaking or rusting. Works as advertised!

Although one vendor made good on the purchase with a total refund (they knew it wasn't stainless). It has rusted out since then, even though I keep it under cover.In this case, I am VERY happy with my purchase. I am sure that this is stainless steel. The workmanship is fine and has no issues. I have used it several times already, and though the hinge design is certainly different from any other grate I've used, I don't anticipate having a problem with it (I haven't smoked on the grill with this grate, yet). I am sure the hinged portions will work fine for my application (on a Weber grill).

This was to replace the stock chrome plated grate for my 2008 Weber Performer grill.It fits great, works great, and looks great. It's a great grate.The folding sides work just as well for charcoal access as the original design, only they feel like they're more flush with the rest of the grate than the originals ever could do. (so food cooking across the joint will rest evenly and get cooked evenly)I had to bend the lifting handles inward a tiny bit to clear the nuts on the inside of my 22" kettle, so I could spin the grate around without hitting anything, but that was easy enough.Couldn't be happier.

I love my Weber 22" Kettle Grill but got tired of having to purchase a new grill grate for it basically every year because the Weber grill grate is chrome plated and not solid stainless steel. Even though I keep my grill on a screened in back porch out of the weather, the chrome plated grills inevitably rust over time. I've had this grill grate for a few months and so far so good. It is definitely not as thick and robust as the original Weber 22" grill grate, however it has held up fine with continued use (we grill out probably 2-3 times weekly). Even with the less robust grate, I've been able to get excellent looking grill marks on meats when I want to impress guests. The grates themselves kind of loop at the ends whereas the Weber version is straight through, which took me a bit of getting used to from a scraping and cleaning perspective, but once I got the hang of it there hasn't been any issues...aside from that and the fact that it is a bit thinner, I cannot think of any other issues with this grill grate.

So far I love it. Fit my grill, no sign of corrosion, easy to clean. A little more $ than most, but far superior to OEM.

Perfect replacement grill

This fits my Weber perfect and finally someone made a stainless steel grate for the 22.5” bbq. Great value.

Everyone knows the standard Weber grill grate rusts after a few years. The construction appears good - magnets do not seem to be attracted to this grate which is good sign. The spacing is larger than original though - I mainly grill meats with this grill so that is fine. But smaller items like veggies can be a challenge. But pricing is very reasonable so it’s a good trade off.
