This was a replacement keyboard for a laptop that was given to me works great

Brought my laptop back to life. The swap was easy after viewing a couple of videos on youtube. The only slightly tough part was prying the old keyboard out after removing the screws in the back: this must be done with a thin and strong blade inserted under a corner of the metal backing of the old keyboard. It might be easiest to do if the esc key is first popped out of the upper left corner or the delete key from the upper right corner.

It worked as well as one can expect, and replacing it was easy enough. Installation went as well as one could hope.

This is the second replacement keyboard for this laptop, the first worked well, then just stopped working, Decided to pay a bit more and get the compaq type. So far so good!

Everything working aside from two keys. Wifi button on keyboard needs to be turned off to be turned on, and left side of space bar works but right does not. So I took one star off. To replace keyboard, remove all screws on the back of the laptop that has the keyboard sign next to them. Very simple to do with a pair of jewelers screwdrivers(Phillips type). Should take you no more than 15 minutes from start to finish if you know where to unscrew the keyboard in the back.

Very good product, easy install instructions and quick shipping

So easy to install! Fits great although it stand up in a small area. It's not visible to most but I noticed it. I recommend it. My keyboard I replaced this one with was not spitting out the right letters/symbols accurately, some keys gave no output at all. Now, my computer is working just fine.
