MANGROOMER Ultimate Pro Back Shaver Replacement Blade

Not sure what's up with the negative reviews. I was al little apprehensive to buy this because of them, but I'm glad I did. Super simple install if you can even call it that, you literally snap the old one off snap the new one on. It works perfectly. Zero issues.

I keep emailing mangroomer about their replacement blades being very poor quality several times and they wont ever respond. I did get a refund on all 3 purchases in a row. My complaints seems to be a common complaint. The replacement blades edges aren't close like the original ones that came with it and do not cut close. What's the point of trimming the hair just to have to shave it afterwards? The cost of 2 poor quality heads is almost as much as a new mangroomer.

Make sure you enter your correct model number. They all are very similar. I ordered the wrong model. I returned and purchased the correct model. Price is worth it instead of buying a new groomer.

So yes, the replacement head has NO clipping power. I took the bottom (moving) part of the clipper from my old head and swapped it! BINGO! Cuts like new! I think I'll run the new lower over my diamond grit whetstone. Just once. I might also cut slots to run a zip strip through the upper and tie the spring down. That's what broke in the first place, the hook. Good luck, folks!

I've been using these blades for years now and I don't know what's happened but the last 2 I've ordered have been just about worthless. I'm not sure if the blades are dull or if it's some kind of alignment problem but it has rendered my mangroomer useless.

I had read some reviews here that said these replacement heads were dull compared to the originals. I found no such problem and found them much cheaper than I could get them from the manufacturer. A win/win situation if you ask me.

Unfortunately the blade does not cut. Not worth buying

My first mangroomer machine lasted 2 months before refusing to take a charge. I then purchased the newer current model a couple years ago, and it holds a charge great, but the cutting heads are pathetically bad. The original cutting head would freeze up solid every single time, and not work. I would pull the head apart and get it moving again with lube, then the next time, frozen again. After a couple years of frustration and only a few uses, I ordered the replacement head. The replacement head showed up frozen solid and not working, so I took it apart to get it going again, and it's the same thing over and over. This new head is even worse the original and doesn't even cut a single hair. I have never been so pissed off about a product in my life. Out of the hundreds if not thousand items I buy on Amazon, this is only the third or fourth review I have ever made. I feel that strongly about how unbelievably crappy this product is.

Shaving back, works ok, replacement blades are pretty expensive for how long they last
