Standard Process Canine Cardiac Support, 100 g

Although the smell was surprising to us, our dog LOVES the cardiac support sprinkled on his food. We are grateful to have found a supplement that was recommended by our vet, that is easily accessible, and not difficult to get our fur child to down. Unsponsored and on our 4th bottle 🥳

I loved having the scoop. I almost ordered one before I checked. My 14 year old terrier had no problem adjusting to this mixed with dog food, sugar free yogurt, peanut butter, or sugar free applesauce. I've even sprinkled it on top of steamed broccoli that we add to his dry food. It seemed like it helped his breathing immediately! He has some minor heart issues and this has the recommended ingredients. The price may seem high for such a small bottle but when you do the math to determine the servings it's quite reasonable. It lasted us about 2 1/2 months or 10 weeks. Definitely worth it since it gives him more energy, helps him breathe easier, caused no digestive problems, and hopefully prolongs his life while improving his quality of life. There are 1 or 2 similar cardio supplements I want to try before we make a final decision on what seems to work best. May take the bottles to his veterinarian for their input, too, but I was pleasantly surprised at how well he took this and the immediate improvement to his coughing and breathing issues.

My 15 year old dog has heart disease. She takes meds for the enlarged heart and flourcemide for the fluid in her lungs. She is doing well but I wanted to add another supplement to help her. I found this product in a search. I started her on it and after a two weeks her coughing became less frequent. After I was done with the product I took her off of it to see if it really made a difference or I was just being optimistic. Sure enough she started coughing more frequently again. So I re purchased the product and i had the same positive results. I highly recomment it. I'm also ging it to my 12 year old. He doesn't have a heart problem but It thought it would idea to supplement his health.

My shih tzu Jack has bradycardia and a defective mitral valve. Jack's cardiologist of approximately two years expects that his heart will enlarge and that he'll go into congestive heart failure at some point. Early on when our holistic vet suspected a heart problem, she suggested canine cardiac support. I have been giving Jack this supplement for at least three years now. I don't know if it's due to this product or not, but Jack's semi-annual EKGs over the past two years or so reveal zero change in his heart condition and no signs that Jack will succumb to heart disease. Jack's cardiologist can't explain why heart disease is not taking him down. She thinks he may be just one of the lucky few who can live a normal life with these heart problems. I can't explain it either, but my holistic vet (who is wonderful) really likes the product, and I can assure you that I will continue to give Jack this supplement because he's doing great and canine cardiac support might just be the reason!

We are now using the second bottle of this supplement. Our cavalier king charles dog loves the taste. We will see if this supplement makes a difference concerning her MVD when we have her evaluated by the cardiologist. Thank youl

Has helped my 14yo dog with her heart murmur has kept her off meds tho they may be considered soon

It's great for my Fox Terriers with a heart problem. Just not enough for the price.

I started using this for my dog once a day when she was showing signs of heart disease. This product, along with progressively increasing her exercise has been a game changer. I sprinkle it on her food with dinner and I have had no issues with her not wanting to eat it. If you have a picky eater, it could easily be hidden in Greek yogurt, sugar free peanut butter, or other options!
