These wonderful early short films take you back to a day when you would go to the theater to see movies, not a single movie. Besides a feature, you would have a newsreel, a cartoon and if you were very lucky, a one or two reel comedy. Now this book gives you not only the historical background of the productions, but of the stars and those behind the camera. An added bonus, which the film collector in me loves, are title by title notes on the actual prints used in the production of the DVDs.
