Short of removing carpet, sub surface extraction is the best method for flushing out the true cause of odors and reappearing spots. Using the StainOut System STEP 1: Saturate the affected areas with Smiley Paws, a professional grade strength Urine, Odor, and Stain remover. Allow the cleaning solution to seep deep into the carpet’s backing, padding, and subfloor, in order to target the entire odor source. The solution will work to rehydrate, emulsify, and break down organic soil and pet urine solids in preparation for extraction and rinsing. Review: Not fit for professional use - Was looking forward to using this at a decent price, unfortunately it not fit for use with professional carpet cleaning equipment. The power from the vacuums on my extractor literally pin the tool to the carpet and it’s impossible to remove without breaking the handle which is only held in by two 12mm screws. So you have to wiggle it pull the handle really hard and it’s now fallen apart after it’s first use today. Unfortunate really. Maybe it’s only for home machines like a vax etc

**Q: Would something like this remove deeply embedded dirt from low pile carpet?**
A: This tool is really for removing water flooding for urine & water soluble particulates.

**Q: Will this work on a thick/shaggy rug?**
A: It was a life saver for us when our old kitty decided he didn't want to use the litter box for awhile, our carpet is pretty thick and it seems to have a lot of suction.....

**Q: can it work with a truckmount?**
A: I used it with our AeroTech & a Sandia heated spotter. It worked great for spotting but I used the Water Claw for bigger pet damages etc. It's not the same quality as a Water Claw but works well if not thrown around a truck.

**Q: Will my rigid wet vac hose connect to the sos sub surface carpet extraction tool?**
A: We used it professionally with a 1.5” & 2”  heavy-duty vac hose.

Was looking forward to using this at a decent price, unfortunately it not fit for use with professional carpet cleaning equipment. The power from the vacuums on my extractor literally pin the tool to the carpet and it’s impossible to remove without breaking the handle which is only held in by two 12mm screws. So you have to wiggle it pull the handle really hard and it’s now fallen apart after it’s first use today. Unfortunate really. Maybe it’s only for home machines like a vax etc
