I used to make Orthodontic appliances for the Orthodontist I worked for and Retainer Brite was the only cleaner we gave to our patients. I use it myself. **Q: I use a mouthguard at night. Is it safe to leave the mouthguard in this solution all day until I need it again at night?** A: I wouldn't recommend soaking the retainer that many hours. The chemicals in retainer Brite only need up to 20 minutes to work in warm water. Not sure if it could deteriorate the retainer over time. My recommendation is to drop the tablet into a watertight holder with warm water and retainer while you get ready for bed and within those 15-20 minutes your retainer is fresh and clean for bedtime.
