After reading some of the negative reviews before purchasing this for a fun project with my 9 year old I was a little skeptical of getting this, however, I was surprised by the detail of the instructions and the ease of installation along with the quality of parts for the price. It is definitely a parent child project as my 9 year old wouldn't have been able to do it themself, but after a few hours it worked great the motion sensors work very well. The sound level of the robot is not near as loud as some of the reviews made it seem to be. For the price, it is a great value. Make sure you have small wire cutters as you will need them to cut out the parts and remove the burrs.

Don't buy unless you want to ruin Christmas. Got this for my kids and gave it to them early. The parts are very weak plastic and will break. 5 minutes after we finished putting it together the on button basically pushed into the head and keeps doing it and button is not always responsive. It is loud and annoying to turn on. Follow and object detection works but is buggy. Building it was the only real fun part. Absolutely wish I had bought something else. My kids looked forward to this and it is just junk. They want to play with their robot but at this point turning it on is frustrating, the legs keep breaking (as in the plastic keeps breaking apart), it's loud, and it seems like it constantly is ineed of being taken apart and rebuilt. The time it takes to set this guy up is going to last more than rhe fun you have with it. Extremely disapointed. Would return it but my wife threw the box away. Totally not worth my money or the disappointment it brought us.

Great project for a young builder. He had a blast assembling it. It works as described but struggles to walk on carpet. I'm not surprised that it needs a hard flat surface. I would totally recommend this for others

A fun project for several hours for my 8 year old granddaughter’s first real “build”. Frankly legs only noisily vibrated with no movement if the robot when finished but lights did blink and that was close enough to be something of a success. It was fun and challenging and just to get the lights to blink brought joy and a sense of accomplishment to GD. there is no way to check the motor and related moving parts until it’s complete and there is no easy way back if it just sits and vibrates. One other note- there is no AI component to this at all despite description. I see from other comments that customer service is good and I have requested a reply. Will adjust review if I get help.

This is the cutest thing ever!! All though it doesn't do much, it was fun to put together, a little challenging, but a great little robot!!

Amazing customer service! I have reached out 2x trying to replacement parts that have snapped from my son trying to “take apart” parts of the robot and they have sent them to me, free of charge, no questions asked! I will say this robot is definitely for older children as my 4 year old is a little too rough and I had to spend all of the time putting it together, but it is adorable. I would definitely purchase from this company in the future!

Nous n’avons pas réussi à l’assembler , c’est très mal fait….perte de temps et argent . Je ne recommande certainement pas

We built it, we messed around with it, we kept it on display. Tried using recently and it seemed fairly broken / crunchy. It never really walked correctly when built. It would stutter and struggle a little with movement. 3 stars due to possible chance this was user error.
