Worked like a charm. No issues or tweaks. The springs are strong and helped with the kids leaving doors open. The springs are adjustable and replaced our existing hinges fine with no problems with fit. Seems like a great quality product.

Pros: 1. Seems well-made, adjustment is easy once you understand what you're doing. 2. Spring tension is alright - two hinges on a light door is sufficient. Cons: 1. As mentioned by others, sticker over instructions on all three boxes. Included instructions from a different product, but they appear to be identical to the back of my box (see image). 2. As mentioned by others, square and rounded sides means that installing with the adjustment head at the top, like the instructions say, might not be possible without modification (my inward opening door with hinges on the right side requires the hinges be installed upside down, with adjustment head to bottom). Still seems to work fine upside down, though.

I had a automatic door closer that screwed into door and door jam, and it had broke. I saw these hinges and decided to try them because I did not want to drill into the door again. I was so surprised at how incredibly easy this was to install. I just took off the middle hinge to the door that leads to my garage and put this hinge on. There was no need to remove the door and all the holes lined up perfect. Once on I just had to adjust the closing speed a couple times but it works great so far!!!!! The fact that 2 came in the package I am going to put the other one on my front door.

I needed a door closer option for my back kitchen door. Rather than a big, commercial Pneumatic closer, I tried these spring-loaded henges. I started with 2, thinking I could replace 2 of the 3 existing henges, but the swing and spacing was different, so I orders another pair. I’ve had them installed for about 2 months now, and they are working exactly as I had hoped. I would recommend them to others needing a good, simple door closer option. (They were easy to install and seem sturdy. But they are totally not sheer.)

I installed these to replace a couple of old ones. One was completely sheared, the other one had a pin that was way beyond trying to pry off. They work great and are really smooth. The adjustments are a little strange and take a try or two to figure out. After that they work great.

High quality hinges to make doors close slower for an affordable price point..what’s not to like?

These seem like good quality hinges. They were easy to install and tension the springs. Hopefully they last a long time before they start to rust. Time will tell. Also, I installed these on outwardly swinging doors. If the door swung to the left the hinge had to be installed upside down because one side of the hinge has the corners curved off. I don’t think this will be a problem.
