Since crows and hawks don't get along, I was wondering if this would attract crows or scare away a hawk?** A: When I play this crows have come to my chicken coop, I have played it when I see a hawk. The hawks leave when the crows come. It is not a permanent fix, I am trying to get the crows to nest close to my coop. **Q: Where does the extended speak plug into this??** A: Just received mine and it dose not have a place on it to put a external speaker on it... did not have any ports on it **Q: I bought this with the speaker. Once you're set up with your decoys, any advice on what calls work best? Do you space them out? Continuous?** A: I use the "MacDaddy" (two reps every 10 seconds or so while listening for an answer) then throw in a "Frenzy" every 10 reps or so.....seems to get their attention........then when I see them moving my way I hit the "Crow/Owl" (only once or twice-volume decreased) and that brings them in close (appears to tick them off). I'm using the call and remote speaker also and I hang an Owl decoy in a tree near the crow decoys. Can't say this is the best method, but it sure works for me.
