Furthermore, it's a series with a terrific introduction to music, animals and gentle geography. There are number of episodes on this dvd - not sure how many - but enough that I can know my kids are and will be distracted for a nice chunk of time if I need to get something done, and that they are healthily engaged in the process. When we do watch with them, the series are sweet - not sickeningly twee. Everytime they come on she gets so excited and sings along with them. This is a great way to introduce your child to many different places & different animals.
